Hi Guys

I am having to get a new engine fitted to my car and have found a company via Ebay that has given me a good price and offered me a 6 month warranty but I was just feeling a little nervous about where I would stand if I had to rely on the warranty.

I was just wondering if I could get any extra protection if I paid by credit card. The only problem is I don't have any credit cards!!!

So if I asked my mum to pay on her card would I be able to get any protection if it went wrong?

Thanks for your advice

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Why not get the invoice made out to her too.

There is no reason why your mum can't buy an engine regardless of who the car is registered to. (It could be a present for example)

Can I do this if the car is registered in my name?

Absolutely it should make no difference.

As has been advised,we do get some bad stories on here-so do some homework first.
