Hi, I'm new here. I came looking for help for my daughter. She has just returned from a trip to Nottingham Broadmarsh Shopping Centre, having paid £4.80 for 3 hours parking. When she returned to her car, she had a parking ticket for £50 that stated "parked beyond the bay markings". Unfortunately she didn't think to take a photograph but she is adamant that all 4 wheels were within the bay and the only part of the car outside the bay, was a slight overhang of her front bumper. I have telephoned Nottingham City Council this evening but was told that all employees in the relevant department, had gone home (4.45 p.m.) My question is, is it the wheels or the bodywork that are taken into account when deciding if a vehicle is outside the bay and is my daughter entitled to ask for photographic proof of the violation. Many thanks for any help that you may be able to give.:|

well atleast it is a council car park so's you'll have a chance to appeal unlike the other private parking fleecers.

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
