I have now received another scary letter from Debt Recovery Plus. They refer to 2015 Supreme court ruling for private parking charges. Has Horizon ever taken anyone to court? Any experiences people want to share? DRP.pdf

Should I just wait for the claim letter or follow-up with horizon to confirm the outcome of my appeal, So I can then appeal to POPLA?

DR+ mention previous notices but I have not received any thing other than what is attached here. I do not have the copy of the appeal that I submitted as it was an online form but I have the acknowledgement email of receipt of my appeal by Horizon - added to the attached PDF. In the acknowledgement email they say that the parking charge notice will be on hold until they respond to the appeal. I never heard back from them and received the Debt recovery notice instead. Also, I don't know if this is of relevance but I noticed in the forums that you should receive the parking notice within 14 days of the contravention and I received it on 15th day (i.e. 5th October). Yes, I have the original notice from Horizon and also the acknowledgement email of receiving my appeal.

Hi all I got a parking notice in October for parking in the Gallagher retail park for watching a movie that lasted more than 2 hours that I appealed. I had shown my tickets asked Odeon staff if okay to park outside as I did not see any parking restrictions and they said it is okay. I never heard back the outcome of the appeal from Horizon parking now I have this notice from Debt recovery Plus, which is double the original ticket amount. Is this considered the claim? Should I call the Debt Recovery Plus and explain I never received an outcome for my appeal from Horizon parking? What is the best advice to proceed here? Thanks for any help in advance.
