No, they've not bothered me, either. Sent me an email and a letter months back, I asked for specific details, they said after I register they'd be able to supply information. I replied that wouldn't be much use to me, and nothing more from them since...

 

I did also ask them for advice as to whether if the Advent course was without time limit, as I was "led to believe", then did they think that there was a possibility that I was mis-sold the course.

 

Presumably they don't want to open that particular can of worms...

I called them a few weeks ago asking for more information and they said they couldn't comment on ANYTHING! I need to wait for the next letter!

I asked how long I should wait, they said it won't be long, the letter is in the post!

Still had nothing and they won't answer any questions on the phone!

Makes me REALLY want to sign up with them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, and info from law team there too now in case you are getting CT hassle you to sign up with them.

 

 

What if i sign up with CT? I get mail from BPF that they found trainer as like as Advent so i was sure all terms are same, and same thing told me a consultant from CT. After 2 weeks i sign up with them... and then i just find out this company is totaly different. I sign out around two weeks ago but BPF probably recived some information from CT that i signed up? I hope it wasn`t another footshoot (first was loan contract with BPF)...

If you choose to sign up with them you should insist on a full explanation of exactly what they are offering as CT courses are not the same as Advents terms re; cost, duration etc.

I'd get it in writing too so they can't go back on the deal.

hi guys still not able to get on to group website directly,but did get on by using a anonymous proxy server www.zend2.com think AOL might have blocked the webs.com server so if your having the same problem try this.

Hi snowball,

I've had to use a proxy server too as the website has stopped working for me since the Virgin problem got fixed it's now showing a http 500 Internal Server Error and just won't load. I've accessed it with the proxy but can't access the case updates. So if you know how to get into that let me know please.

Did anyone else here get an annual account summary from BPF stating that they were in £235 in arrears when payments were only due to start near the end of last month?

Yes they sent me that annual statement think it was end of March and payments were due middle March plus a default notice late payment charge as DD was cancelled an numerous charges since, then latest letter with a £22.50 charge again 2 days ago Saturday.

Can't believe the way we are being treated by a so called reputable business they're like loan sharks harassing us like this. How's the phone calls going had a few last week again but none today yet. What a mess this is.

Yes, Sky and AOL are still having problems I understand, due to the filters they are using to direct customers to Webs.com. Hopefully it will be sorted today, as the issue was for Virgin customers (full explanation here if anyone is interested!)

Wonder how BPF will reply to the letter from the legal team. Wish they'd get their finger out and hurry up. If they were as smart as they are at sending payment demands this could be sorted ASAP.

Hey Bluedo hows it going, its been a while as iv been away.. I sent my dispute letter & they just sent one back sayin the same bull, that it is not in dispute as they havent done anything wrong etc,

i still need to get a letter to the financial ombudsman, but need to find a template letter..

do u think i should respond to barclays again??

My account has been in dispute for nearly 7 weeks..

And still no reply.

This might have something to do with me asking for a copy of their contract with me, with their reply.

And i seem to have all the copies of the open ended contract.[ no finish date on it]

So it seems like i will not get any kind of reply.

Another week and i will be passing it over to FOS.

 

When i called BPF not so long ago, and told them i have not yet had a copy of their contract...I was told it was with the Administrators for Advent.

All Bull s##t of course.

Are you guys managing to get any answers from BPF over the phone?

 

PP+ trainees tell me that all their phone calls late last week were met with "I can't answer that because the computer system is down". Seems a bit odd - but maybe cause for hope.

Does anyone know what the deal is with the petition now? All is says is, "This petition is now closed, as its deadline has passed." Does this go to the PM for him to make a decision about how to deal with the situation?

I believe the petition was closed because of the general election, and it's now upto the current coalition goverment to decide whether they will continue with it.

 

I really don't see the online petition to be a priority for them though.

Getting calls on a daily basis from South Africa from people claiming to be from B.P.F. I've been at work and my wife answered today. When the woman said she was from B.P.F. my wife replied "Are you from B.P.F. or from a debt collecting agency". "I can't tell you that!" she answered.

Why the hell did she say she was from B.P.F. when she opened the call.....Not the hardest to catch out this lot!!
