went into town this morning to look at something. I was told that if I bought this, I could get a £100 voucher to spend in their shop. One of the assistants said "you could buy £100 worth of jelly beans." I will pass on that, I think!

I can finally eat "battered chippy fish"!!!!!!!!

I'm allergic to gluten and wheat, so have not have a delicious piece of battered fish for god knows how long - anyway, we found gluten free flour, and I've done loads of experimenting - last night we had battered fish and chips............OMG!!! It was even tastier than the regular, and cost a fraction of the price than if it was from the chippy...AND it's healthier!

My Husbands gone gluten free too now, he did it to support me originally, but said he'd never go back to gluten based products, even he is feeling the benefits!

My Dad. Went in to see him in his nursing home, was dead chuffed because he ate his supper and managed quite a bit of water. When he was ready for bed, I helped him take his shoes off, only to have him stare at me in a baleful manner and say "You're not very good at this, are you? you'll probably get sacked...not to worry though, you'd probably manage alright behind a Bar". cheers Dad. :-)

My friend has decided to get two kittens when they're old enough to leave their mother in about 6wks time - so I was at her house this evening, and she held up pictures of two of them, and asks......"Boys or girls, or one of each"!!! I absolutely fell about laughing

Again, my Dad. Don't know if his new medication is starting to kick in, but he was on brilliant form tonight...laughing and happy, eating and drinking. Can't really ask for more right now.

I can't say enough good things about the care home staff - they have some very challenging patients in at the minute (and they're not supposed to), but they still took the time to chat to me about how Dad is doing and clearly spend a lot of time with him. I know they're on a very low wage, but the job they're doing is brilliant. There's one young girl there who deserves a medal, in fact. Given how poor his care has been up until now, I'm not sure that there's a box of chocolates of a size that's sufficient to express my gratitude.

I can go to bed tonight tired, but happy. :-)

Cheers Caro. Shant see any of it cause it will go straight into the account to pay off some of the debt balance, but still a good result never the less.

Keep up the fight against Bank Charges.

VJ82 Won his court case he was the defendant today in the high courts of justice against (TWITTER: scrooby tweets)mr chris mcgrath of milton keynes. If you look at both twitter id's scrooby tweets and mr chris mcgrath with links to mcg legal and the rants on there, you will see it must have been an stressful time for VJ.

I bet VJ and family will sleep well tonight well deservedly.

It was mr chris mcgrath against VJ and others.......

VJ had a lot of supporters :whoo:
