Well my 6 month review is here again, doesn't time fly.

Usual churned out letter, but I see Crap One have gone upmarket with their I&E forms.

Not the usual illegible photocopy rubbish, now they are a nicely printed pamphlet, requiring all the information they have no right to and of course;

The obligitory 'signiture' to create a masterpiece agreement.

Not as I will be filling it in like.

So I expect I will be in for another 3 months of letters ping pong and phone calls trying to convince me that I have to fill it in and I have to sign it by law as was the case last time.

Tell me about it Chrissy. Was looking forward to a pieceful summer, then this plops through the letterbox.

I will just get this sorted then it be MINT reassessment time.

I wish the we're all like Monument, not had any reassessment from them since 2007, no calls, letters nothing, thats the way they should all do it.

A simple letter advising that your circumstances remain unchanged should be sufficient for them.

Still, I guess they are keeping people employed :rolleyes:

Well it appears the frim stance with Crap One is the way to go.

I wrote to them stating;

They would not be receiving any bank statments, I&E forms, proof of benefits or anything else.

Told them if they wished to see this kind of info they should apply to the courts for a disclosure order.

Told them NO LETTER PINGPONG, electronic signiture is legal.

Except what your offered or see what a judge will award you.

Letter this morning excepting the offer.

So if you give them NO room for argument, they cave in at the frist hurdle.

So thats them out of the way for 6 months

Told MINT the same thing, but still waiting to hear back from them.

Hello

I'm new to this site but have been reading your threads. I'm in 'negotiations' with Cap One or should I say 'Crap One'! It seems there is a case of 'letter ping pong' going on at the moment. I sent letters to all my creditors last month together with a personal budget which I completed on the National Debtline website. Egg came straight back with a letter accepting my pro rata payments. Catalogues have been churning out what seems to be a standard letter refusing point blank but I will be paying pro rata payments to them this month whether accepted or not! Crap One and Santander have both written to me asking for copy bank statements, wage slips and other creditor statements. Now having taken advice from Debtline they advise I am not obliged to provide such info to them and I have written to them to this effect. I've set up standing orders to all creditors but I just seem to be bombarded with standard letters, Egg have been the only company to play ball. Very stressed already and this is only the first month of being bombarded with letters and phone calls, suffice to say, I have not been answering phone calls! I reiterate in every letter I send that they are to contact me in writing only. Its good to read all these threads to know I'm not the only one in this situation, even if I am loosing sleep over it!!
