  1. Good evening This happened around two years ago I must confess and although I stumped up the fees the bailiffs wanted, this has been eating away at me ever since as I feel I have been completely stiched up. Background: I went through a very messy marriage breakup and moved away from down South to East Anglia. My now ex-wife left me in all kinds of crap. Long story short, I then got made redundant from East Anglia and found myself somewhat qucikly back down South whilst going through a severe bout of depression. Anyway, I had a rented flat and I fully admit that I didnt manage to keep on top of things including council tax. Bailiff: One day in October 2010, I had just come home and come through the front door. There was a knock at the door and there was a bailiff and their monkey boy standing next to them. They asked if I was Mr blah blah to which I confirmed I was and the bailiff pushed past me and stood in the hall refusing to leave. My now fiancee was very scared by this and called 999. The Police initially refused to attend until I said that we were concerned for our safety and they then decided to arrive Police: The Police were particularly arrogant and were of the view that there was nothing wrong and claimed I had made threats to them (this is for the record completely untrue but the officer who attended has issues with telling the truth) Debt: The fee from memory was about £1700. We paid this as we had no choice Why am I posting this? I dont understand how a bailiff can walk into someone's house without permission, surely this is trespass? I was never left details of their "totting up" of my valuables which I understand I should be and surely from reading the other posts, should the Police have allowed this to happen as surely as the home owner it is my choice if I let someone into the house? I realise this is some time ago but it is really upsetting me even now and I remain very angry. Rossendales were as you would expect somewhat disinterested and didn't feel anything wrong had occurred although they never provided me a breakdown of fees I would welcome your advice because this really upsets me and I am very down over it all. I realise some of this was my fault and that is fair enough but I certainly have not been treated fairly at all Thanks everyone
  2. I need a little advice please. My council sent my council tax bill to Rossendales. I received no notification from the council that this had been to court, first I knew was a letter from Rossendales saying they were coming to my house to do the walkthrough (or whatever it is called) but I could arrange a repayment plan with them, so I completed the paperwork sent it off and Rossendales refused 91.00 per month which was my normal monthly payment. I rang the council and she informed me that Rossendales wanted 126.00 a month, I agreed to pay this and got the paperwork from Rossendales detailing my payment plan. Unfortunately, I was late paying my November payment, it should have been the 28th and I actually paid it on 3rd December. I have come home tonight and there has been a letter shoved through my letter box from Rossendales Notice of Bailiffs Attendance for Council Tax. They are intending to seize my property for 506.00 plus costs, what costs?? It also states that if I cannot afford to pay this amount in full then it is not too late to pay by instalments if I pay an initial charge of 50.00. There was a contact number on this letter which I was told I would need to contact this guy on immediately, which I did but there was no response. Can they charge me 50.00, can they just expect to take my property when they have not even done the walkthrough
  3. Hi everyone, we currently owe rossendales for council tax the bailiff has been round but we havnt let them in or signed anything etc we paid £100 over 3 weeks as my partner did lots of overtime but now it has finished we have offered what we can afford which was £50a week but he refused and said it has to be £80 or one of US will go to prison obviously we don't want this to happen but can't afford 80 a week can anyone give me any advice on if they can do this thank you x x
  4. My 69 year old Father just received a letter from Rossendales Collect on behalf of Arrow Global, looking to collect debts of over £2,000. Demanding that if payment is not made within 7 days they will commence action. My father spoke to them to RC to understand what this related to and they said it was in relation to a catalogue debt from 2007 about which my father knows nothing. RC said that my father has to prove this debt does not relate to him by going to the police station and getting a crime reference number. He did this and the Police wanted nothing to do with it as all my father had was a demand letter from RC. After another call to RC they insist that they need the police reference otherwise they will commence proceedings. When pushed, it looks as though my father has the same name as the person who incurred the debt (and they say the same surname which I doubt) and that my father's address was given as a forwarding address by the person who incurred the debt (who apparently lived in London). We went onto Experian and my father has a score of 999 and there is no reference to the debt but in the linked addresses section there are links from my father's previous address to some random addresses in London. Any advice as at the moment we cannot seem to get RC to back off without the police reference even if their "evidence" looks shaky at best? At 69 he does not want to be in a position whereby he is faced with any sort of pressure in relation to something that clearly has nothing to do with him

  6. i had a letter through my door from rossendales saying they had a liability order to collect some outstanding business rates from a business i had that went under there is just an amount, no breakdown of costs. I phoned the guy and asked him for a breakdown and also explained that i was not even sure i owed the money. I will speak to the council and intend to deal directly with them: is it worth selling my my meager possessions to my other half should I send them the withdrawal of access notice, or just tell them bill is in dispute
  7. i sent a signed for prove it letter to these clowns , here is a copy of the signiture royal mail have for item Electronic Proof of Delivery for your item rm.png
  8. Hi, a newby here who has been studying the wealth of information on these forums. I fell behind a few months ago with my CTax and had a liability order issued back in March. The debt was brought up to date and since I have been able to pay and am up to date. Last week, the council got a second liability order for the demand of CTax for the rest of this year despite paying every month. Yesterday I got a demand from Rossendales for £1,069. I intend to take this up with the council in the morning by going to the offices in person. The letter Rossendales sent was if it was written by a 5 year old. A I&E form was enclosed and I have been threatened with Criminal prosecution and a fine of up to £500 if I don't send it back to them completed. Is this legit and legal? Thanks for any advice.
  9. Last week the not so nice Baliff person from Rossendales called at the house and pushed through the letter box a Notice of Bailiffs Attendance for a Magistrates Liability Order/Warrant of Execution for unpaid council tax. The letter went on to state that the intention was to sieze goods etc to discharge the debt. It also went on to say that even at this late stage with an initial payment of £150 I can still pay by instalments, if I pay it to Rossendales. I wont go into too much detail but the tax for 2011/12 and 2012/13 was outstanding. A lump sum was taken from my redundancy money of approx £2000 by an attatchment of earnings and I've paid a further £1000 lump sum, leaving just under £1000 outstanding. I do now have a full time job again so will be able to make monthly payments on time. Although Rossendales want me to pay them direct I decided to pay the council via their website £150 today. My intention is to visit them in person at the council office Monday to sort out payment by £150 instalment till the debt is paid off (they did offer me this service when I last spoke to them on the phone). Not wanting the bailiff to enter the house I informed them by phone that I would not be available, that even if they did turn up they would not be let in and that I had paid £150 to the council direct . As expected the bailiffs attitude changed as I told them that I would be happy to contact them by mid next week to tell them what the Council have said. I also told them that the Council can't refuse to take my payments and I am intending to pay them only and not Rossendales. The bailiff has retaliated by visiting my home the very same day as the phone call was made, they give my son who was outside at the time, a letter containing a Notice of Distress saying they have siezed the car, although I will add the car belongs to my wife and is in her name on the V5C. The liability for the council tax is in my name only. At no time have I had a meeting with anyone from Rossendales, only a talk on the phone. the question is what next, can they take the car being as it's registered owner is my wife and not me. The have applied a first visit fee of £24.50 and a second visit fee of £52.00 even thought I said I would contact them mid next week They have given me 5 days from today to pay the distress. Can I argue the fact with the council that as i've paid recently almost £3000 that I have paid off the liability for the 2012/13 tax year which is what the Bailiifs are working on. Thanks for your help Shaokahn
  10. In 2007 I took out an orange contract, but only had it for 11 days after my company offered me a company mobile phone. So I cancelled the contract within 14 days and sent back the phone in an envelope ORANGE supplied me to send them phone back in... After that I heard nothing from orange. Last year - October 2011 - I received a letter from a company called Frederickson International who were acting on behalf of Arrow Global at my new address that advised I owed a communications bill to the value of £220 - I wrote back to them and advised them I knew nothing about it and could they send me a breakdown of the bill. I received a letter back saying they wont be persuing the debt any further... In March 2012 - I received a letter chasing the same debt from a company called Rossdales - who again, were acting on behalf of Arrow Global and this £220 i supposedly owe. I advised them of the communications I had with Frederickson and they referred me back to Arrow Global. In July 2012 i applied for a mortgage with a high street lender and it got declined. Due to an unsettled default notice on my credit file by a company called Arrow Global in October 2010. I sent Arrow Global a SAR to find out what the debt is and they sent me the details but with NO breakdown of what exactly the debt is for - saying they would be unable to send me an itemised bill of the calls I made in the 11 day period I had the phone as Orange wouldn't no longer keep that information. I called ORANGE and since July 2012 have spoken to 10 different people. 5 of which say there is no outstanding balance, and most recently after begging they look back at my history and provide me the details, saying I wont come off the phone untill they investigate it properly crying etc etc.. . - they are now saying I didn't return the phone. I reminded them that i sent the phone back in a pre paid envelope that ORANGE had sent me (they have a record of sending me the envelope) I was asked if i had the receipt/proof of postage... . Of course I don't, it was 2007. They told me from the IMEI number they can see that the phone was only used for 11 days and then it was stopped and the IMEI was never blacklisted. So im guessing whats happened here is, they think I never returned the phone - they sold the debt to Arrow Global and in 2010 ARROW applied a default notice against my name - but how? I never received any correspondence about ANY of this. .. nothing for 4 years and then suddenly Im lumbered with this.. . Im a single working mum of two who is trying to buy a house and I cant even get a high street lender so Im going to be stung with a massive fee and a high interest rate. I dont even know what to do. .. Ive already lost a house to an alternative buyer because i just cant afford the fee to get a mortgage because I have "bad credit".... Please help...

  12. Hi Guy's Just in the process of finishing with Equita and 1 week later I have Rossendales knock at the door. This is for 2012-13 council tax. Work has been very poor, for the last 2-3 years. Self employed. My crime is making sure I have a roof over my head (renting) and feeding my family, Well I had 1 weeks break, Rossers called today. The wife spoke to he Bailiff, But this time did not let him in, She is a foreign National, The Bailiff left a sheet of paper as follows. Notice of attendance Magistrates Liability Orber Dated 10/07/12 Address xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Amount£xxxx Plus Costs I have atended today with the intention of seising your goods and chattels as are nessecary to discharge the above debt If you can not pay this Bill in full you should be aware that even at this late stage, with an inital payment of £ 150.00 you can pay in installments Yours sincerely Mr XXXX Bailiff in charge I miss read the letter when I posted on my other thread, I thought he ment I had £150.00 in charges. Well I do not believe the person who attended today was a bailiff. Was not pushy when he spoke to the wife, when she told him to speak to me. just handed the letter to her and walked away. I'm sure the council informed them I had paid up the first LO and the set the Rossers on me . Just starting to get back on my feet and attacked again 2-3 weeks would have been nice so I could build up the funds. No cash flow no work!! I feel like giving up and tell them to empty the house and let the state take care of the family one step forward two or three back. I've had enough!!!!!!!!!! Leakie
  13. Hello all, I'm hoping for some friendly advice regarding a thoroughly unpleasant position I find myself in I'm a single female living on my own in a rented property. When I returned home from work yesterday I spotted that the garden gates were open, which was odd, but then on my doormat I found a very intimidating letter from Rossendales bailifs. There was no monetary amount on the letter, just a handwritten "1xWarrant" and a reference to an outstanding council tax bill at a cottage I rented some 18months ago. This is the first I've heard of this. I contacted the owners of the cottage as when I left, a condition of returning the deposit was that the council tax was up to date, I presented her a receipt of that at the time. She confirmed that as far as she was aware the council tax was up to date and the new tenants had not received any mail from the council saying otherwise. in short, I assumed everything was in order. then I called the council, who informed me that as I'd vacated the cottage in the middle of the following month, there had actually been a two week overlap and I was liable for that two weeks. Fair enough I said, what do I owe you, "£511" was the reply. Bearing in mind the tax at the cottage was around £120 a month, I was slightly taken aback. The man at the council refused to give me a break down of the £511, saying that the debt had been "sold" to rossendales and I would need to deal with them. He did let slip that the majority of the charge was rossendales, and yesterdays visit had cost me £120. I asked why the council had not contacted me before letting it escalate so far. He insisted they had sent me a letter in January, and even called in to my place of work and they had decided I was actively trying to avoid them. This simply isn't true, I still live in the same area, I have been paying my council tax as normal, going to work as normal and opening my mail as normal. I work in a small office, a "visit" would not have gone un-noticed, and neither would a letter?? I'm at a loss of what to do, the council are accusing me of being dishonest and have wiped their hands of me. I'm frankly terrified of opening a dialogue with rossendales, but I'm even more terrified of them visiting again when I'm actually home. What do you think is my best way forward?? Georgina
  14. Rossendales have a liability order against my husband & I for our council tax arrears. We paid some money direct to council following a doorstep call 20/10/12. We received a notice 7/11/12 (dated 5/11/12) saying that we had 5 days from date (so 10/11/12) to either pay in full (we can't) or if we want more time to return an I/E statement to them or they will come in and seize goods. We're not disputing that we owe the money, but this is insufficient time to put together the I/E statement & get it back to them. We could pay some more - can we pay this direct to our council or do we have to pay Rossendales? Also, in the face of this liability order, do we have to let them in to do a walking possession?
  15. hi i am new and i need some advice i had a visit from rossendales in august about my council tax i filled out the forms that they gave me and sent them off but i didn't hear from them i sent them £100 at beg of oct with a letter saying that i had not heard from them and could they please let me know what i had to pay every month. on the 30th of this month i got a visit from them asking for full payment (£1.500) or they would take things from my house i dont have money like that but i did have £400 which i had put to one side for bills and for them but he would't take the money. he finally went away saying that i had till monday 5th nov and that i had to ring him before then. i have now borrowed some money from my family which is a total of £800 which i will offer them when i ring him in the morning what do i do if he wont accept the money?. he told me that i sould be paying £288 a month from 1st sep
  16. Hi, I'm hoping someone can give me some advice, today I received a letter from Rossendales Collect about money I apparently owe to the local council. I thought the issue had been settled months ago, I was under the impression that the money I owed had been rolled into my council tax bill. The letter arrived today (dated from the 25th of this month), and it says it is the final demand for the money owed, that if it is not paid immediately they will take legal action through the local court, including: *Judgement/decree being entered against me *An order being made to secure the debt against any property I own *My personal effects being sold to recover the debt My problems are, I have NEVER received a letter, or any other notice from them previously, so this "final notice" is alarming, there's no other date on the letter saying when it needs to be paid by and I was not aware that the council had enlisted their services. This is literally the first I've heard about the money I apparently owe, what should I do? I've read online that they don't have the power to really do anything except harass me, any advice will be appreciated on the matter.
  17. I can't scan the letter which they have sent so I will attempt a good copy. Not sure if it is entirely within the OFT guidelines. Anyhow, not overly worried about them. This is NOT the bailiff side of the company just the debt collection side. I have sent (twice) the "you are not to visit letter) but they have chosen to ignore it. Fair enough. Just wondering what people think? 18. Hi all, I had such great advice yesterday, I'm back for more! I have, including this year, 4 outstanding CT for differing amounts. In July I heard from Rossendales for the first time regarding two of the accounts. I wasn't in when they came and I rang the bailiff when I got the letters through the door (I had'nt read the forum then!). The usual, I'm not letting you have an arrangement, well I don't own anything that will cover the debt, conversation ensued, which ended when he told me I was just going to go to prison then. I rang the council and made a complaint against them. That got my account put on hold while the council looked into it, they came back with "there are some overcharging mistakes which appear genuine (yeah ok) and we have said you can pay by installments". (He also put a seizure notice through for a car I dont own as I dont drive and charged me for that). I didn't know about still being able to pay online to the council, so entered into a 50.00 a week agreement with Rossendales which I have stuck to. I have just got home, and there was an envelope with 2 more letters for the rest off what I owe (I have kind of been expecting them but had decided to pay them through the council site after having read things here, from tuesday next week at a further 50.00 a week). These are in a different bailiffs name, but, when I log into Rossendales payonline site, all four debts are listed together, although I can only login using the ref number of the first debt I'm paying off. Any advice on how to proceed, whether to speak to the bailiffs or just continue my arrangement for the first 2 cases (unless they barr me from the site) and pay the second 2 off via the council site (which would take the payments off this years bill first and therefore be better by my understanding?) would be appreciated. Gem
  19. So, they turned up this morning expecting to be able to get in. Instead, they left a letter saying they had attended for non-payment of child maintenance (no mention in the letter for how much this is). They had not sent any warning that they were going to be attending - in fact this is the first time we have had dealings with Rossendales. Anyway, he said (through the door), I'll be back in 24 hours. Enjoy. Shouldn't my other half have received notice of a visit? If so, I am going to go straight for their complaints procedure, write a letter and get it posted (recorded delivery). I will also send a copy of the letter by email. He will be disappointed again tomorrow when I don't answer the door. My only question...will he give up and send it back to the CSA i.e. He can't force his way in no matter what? Luckily I am well aware of their bully boy tactics. (the other half hasn't got anything of value, no car and as we are in a flat, unless he is spiderman he cannot gain entry through any windows....which are closed anyway).
  20. Hi everyone, I`m a newbie here, so if I`m in the wrong forum, sorry! I had applied for and was granted legal aid in June 2011, prior to my court appearance, I had assumed that was that, however on 08/08/12 I received a capital contribution order notice from Rossendales demanding payment within 28 days of £2.661.76 for my defence representation. At no time have I received any notification whatsoever from LSC regarding this matter. Am I wrong in assuming there should be some kind of time limit here, after all it`s over a year now, and then just to send in the bully boys first, I feel is a bit out of order. If anyone has any advice, I would be most grateful. Many thanks
  21. Hi, I'm new to here and you all have probably read this type of thing before, but what I need is a clear and defined approach to dealing with a specific problem. My other half had fallen behind with her council tax payments, agreed with Cornwall Council to pay of x amount per month, They, then took the payments of this years Council Tax bill, and put her into default on the old one. That's by the by. They then passed the outstanding debt of £826 onto Rossendales i... I don't know exactly what happened after that, i April of this year a Bailiff turned up, let himself in and MADE her sign the "walking Possession" , basically she got flustered having never been in this situation before and signed it.. the bill then became £889.. she agreed to pay £50 a month, they said that was unacceptable, but she paid them two months then didn't pay the next one, yesterday I was here alone and a chap turned up, he said he was from Rossendales and gave me a letter.. the letter reads, FINAL NOTICE, magistrates liability order/warrant of execution for council Tax (its a standard form with the date and amount filled in by hand) they want £1022 in full in 24 hrs, or they are coming to remove the items.. She phoned them this morning, offered to pay them £100 as that is all she can afford, he basically said Tough, it's not his problem it's hers.. he was sorting out the paperwork and coming to collect the items.. she's phoned Cornwall Council debt advice line and they told her to pay them the £100 but make sure she don't leave them in the house... etc etc... Now, only having found this site in the last few hours I've read through as much as I can, without my eyes and head exploding. can someone (one of your experts) give me detailed or at least a step by step guide on what to do now ??? by way of an add on, I have just looked at the notice of distress, the inventory for the WALKING Possession is for 1. Microwave, this is at least 10 years old worth a fiver at a car boot, 2. Dining table, which cost me £10 in a car boot, 3. Two old wooden sofas (firewood) 4. Philips analogue TV, we dont have a Phillips TV, 5. DVD player, 6. Wardrobe, 7. chest of drawers. Total value of which would be less than £100. Apparently he told her he had to write something in there, so that was the standard inventory.
  22. Hi All Having read a number of posts in this forum regarding Bailiffs and what they can and cant do, I have sent them Northampton Council the below email which should explain my circumstances also so I've pasted below; Dear Sir/Madam I contacted your Revenue office telephone line this morning and spoke with a member of your team, however I was very disappointed with the advice I was given. I have been visited by a Bailiff from Rossendales regarding the above account. I understand that it is in arrears and we wish to make a payment arrangement, however the bailiff is not prepared to entertain anything less than full payment to the amount of £1567.17, otherwise he will remove goods from our property. Having looked into my rights today I would request that our case is immediately transferred back to Northampton Council as I am a vulnerable person. I have copied your guidelines on this below; Northampton Borough Council Revenues & Benefits - Council Tax Vulnerable Persons Policy We recognise that certain groups of customers may be vulnerable. These groups may include, but are not restricted to: Pregnant women or recent parents Long term sickness, serious illness or frailty Elderly Physical disability People with learning difficulties, or mental health problems Recent bereavement Severe financial difficulties and/or Income Support, Job Seekers Allowance, Pension Credit or Employment Support Allowance Customers with communication difficulties Customers with a history of alcohol or drug misuse Victims of domestic violence Where we are aware that a person may be vulnerable we will adapt our debt recovery and collection procedure accordingly to minimise any hardship or distress. We recognise that certain debt recovery options are not appropriate where a customer is identified as vulnerable, and we will act to personalise the action we take to reflect this. I am currently out of work and my wife works part-time in a local school and also as a mobile beauty technician. Her monthly earnings are below £600 and we are in receipt of full Housing and Council Tax benefits. With 2 young children (5 and 7 years old) our finances are very tight and I have struggled with finding appropriate work for myself following my diagnosis in 2008 with Multiple Sclerosis. Due to my condition, I can sometimes find it difficult to get around or function fully. As my condition is a relapsing, remitting form, I can be fine for much of the year but then have a period of severe disability (ie unable to walk or stand, constant difficulty breathing, double vision, severe vertigo and balance problems and lack of motor control) it has been difficult to find a job in the current market due to these difficulties and and a need for flexibility from an employer. Following very recent surgery, I am currently experiencing a minor relapse and have lost the full use of my right hand and my mobility is restricted. Stress is a recognised trigger of relapses in MS and the Bailiff has added heavily to this stress. He intends to visit my property with a view to removing goods imminently and intends to attempt levy on a motor vehicle which has been loaned to us by my sister in law. He is totally reluctant to discuss any kind of reduced payment arrangement and has yet to return my phone call 11.26 this morning. I have contacted Rossendales office to discuss options and they have told me I can only deal with the Bailiff now, not the office. As a vulnerable person under the guidelines taken from your website, I would ask that you immediately halt any further action by the bailiff and have our file handed back to Northampton Council for management immediately. We are more than happy to come to agreement on an affordable plan to repay this outstanding amount with Northampton Borough Council. I emailed this to the Revenue and Benefits email address and have CC'd to my local Councillor and to Rossendales. Now I'm waiting for reply from someone.... I did have two outstanding debts and was silly enough to let one of their bailiffs in a few months back. He got me to sign a Walking Possession Order on the car we're using, which has been loaned to us by our sister in law, however the original Bailiff said not to worry about that as provided we made the payments it wouldn't be an issue. Silly I know but I just wanted him out of the house and didn't foresee the difficulties I've had getting a new job. We have subsequently cleared 1 of the 2 debts but have fallen behind by 2 months on the payment arrangement for the other (£70 a month) due to our tight finances. The bailiff that visited yesterday has said he intends to take the car, however its value would be maybe £200 at auction and the debt is £1600, not to mention the massive impact it would have on my wifes ability to work as a mobile beauty technician, which is the only money keeping us just about afloat. Is the email I sent sufficient, can you helpful guys suggest anything else to do. I'm worried this guy is expecting a call by tomorrow lunchtime with full payment or he'll be back. He was not prepared to discuss anything other than a full settlement, not even paying the instalments up to date (£140) and resuming the payment plan. I called Rossendales office as well and they will not talk to me, they have told me I have to go via the Bailiff. Northampton Council said much the same on the phone this morning as well. I'm now panicked he is going to return and either take or clamp the vehicle when he does not get full payment tomorrow and I don't want my daughters to see him if he turns up, they are young and very inquisitive and I don't want to have to try and explain to them what is happening. Any help or reassurance would be gratefully received and thank you in advance
  23. Hi, I have been receiving letters & calls from 'rossendales' too, regarding an 'un-paid parking ticket'. They keep adding 'their' charges on which is currently at £300+ , which I'm not paying. Now, they sent one of their monkeys round in a van Tuesday afternoon, saying I 'owed them the money', which I don't 'owe' them anything. I did not confirm my name when he knocked & refused to take his letter, which he threw into the front garden, hence littering, which I did point out.I also stated there was NO CONTRACT, which he seemed to think there didn't have to be one. He then said there was a 'levy' on the car & they were 'going to take it', to which I said they couldn't & had no right too, He seemed to differ... Anyway, I have since moved the car to another safe location, so good luck trying to find it! Now, I am a bit concerned to what will happen next? The clowns at the council have stated the money they're trying to recover was £82, yet 'rossendales' seem to think, with their 'charges', it's now £300+ What should I do next? They don't intimidate me......just some advice please? Thank guys...
  24. Hi everyone, I owe a fair bit of coucil tax and I stupidly haven't gotten around to dealing with it, a large ammount of this comes from a time that I was out of work, but wasn't claiming housing benefit or council tax benefit due to getting over stressed with the council offices demanding more and more evidence, I have now been sent a text saying : Your case has now been listed to be actioned / executed, YOU WILL NOT BE REQUIRED TO BE AT THE ADDRESS DURING THE ACTION (Goods now to be removed to be sold). Your urgent attention is now required. Contact me by tel (No TEXTS) to 'Discuss' the prevention of goods being removed. This 'distressing' action can still be prevented with your paymeny of the balance outstanding being paid in FULL. Therefore avoiding the SUBSTANTIAL additional enforcement costs being incurred on the execution of the Magistrates Liability Order \ Court distress Warrant. Mr Pugh (Bailiff) Rossendales Is this true can he simply break in and seize my goods without me being present? Is it possible to block this Magistrates Liability order / distress warrant? and also does anyone else know if I can apply for council tax benefit to cover the period? Thanks for any help you can give me x
