  1. Borehamwood v Sutton yesterday replay now BT Sport. Wembley next v Tranmere Rovers.
  2. It's a shame your CAB has not come up to your expectations but it's not usual and maybe because of their particular resources. The idea is to get an appointment to see an advisor The experiences I know of from others is of immense help and support. That aside, it would be good for others to know how you got to where you are now i.e how did your 10 min hearing get organised. Just reading back, not a hearing 14th May but was a date Swift gave as ultimatum. Glad you got your hearing before that CL66 and you have time to breath and focus after all you've gone through.
  3. Hi to you CL66. Glad to get news from you. Just general letters to some borrowers who are not clearing the loan debt. You may not receive this letter. Can you tell us what's happened after I suggested a visit to the CAB. The last we heard was you had a hearing on the 14th May. I can see CL66 signed into this thread but not showing as signed in bottom of home page. We would like to know also your progress as you prepare your evidence and WS so if help needed there's plenty of time for helpers to assist. It's magic! I see you on home page now CL66! Hope we hear from you.
  4. I hear Swift are sending out letters now and the CAB is one of their recommendations to contact for help. I hope you are all organised CL66 if that's still the case. Update when you can.
  5. I'm thinking next issues to address, having problems is Equity Release schemes and the gradual privatisation of the NHS and no will from certain powers that be, not all thank goodness, to challenge money owed by Trusts to lending schemes which imo weren't in the best interest of the people. Shame the will from some is to keep taking. Local election results, maybe a hung parliament again if general election? Question Time last night St Albans. Made me think of large chunk of land boarded round by a developer I pass regularly in St Albs seems like nothing happening on land for years.
  6. In a speech in the city Mr Andrew Bailey CEO of the FCA said he plans to take action to rein in excessive fees, concerning unauthorised overdrafts. In March the competition head Mr Christopher Woolard said 'we can observe disproportionately high fees and charges. There appears to be no clear relationship between the amount borrowed by the consumers and the amount charged by the firm.' The publication of a report on the market is due in weeks. The regulator also took aim at high-interest doorstep lending and the rent-to-own sector, where poor families are encouraged by firms such as Brighthouse to pay for items such as a fridge or tv where interest rates can be punishingly high. Customers end up paying far more than those with the cash to buy goods outright.
  7. Yes, thread starter over a year and cvsc last post about ten months ago asking the question. So no possibility of knowing from the court case number?
  8. Not the death penalty but rest of your life in prison. This addresses the issue of miscarriages of justice. The cost of keeping a prisoner to be off set by productive work which compensates the tax payer. I don't want to complicate the question with the circumstances of why and how the person is a killer, an example if you killed a burglar and the arguments we see 'with reasonable force'.
  9. and ten months after the last post............... Is it poss to check the court case num to see the outcome?
  10. If you receive private messages giving advice please check the person sending the message is bonifide. The Admin team can help with this.
  11. I've noticed threads which we do not hear back from. It's a shame as help continues on here. I hope those who have started threads in this forum have managed to get the outcome they wanted.
  12. It looks like one try and two litigations incl most recent, by the charges DX. Drop jaw charges. Well done CL66 you've found good docs.
  13. It's regulated CCA 1974 so a good start. Will need a visit to CAB to keep momentum going no delays. That's good you have a payment history showing charges taken by Swift which needs to be scrutinised. What is the sum of the charges?
  14. Your loan is under £25000 and I think a good idea to go to your local CAB with your agreement and any other docs you have to clarify your position You can ring in morn and tell them you need to see them quickly as threatened with repossession. At this stage I feel do this first and the situation will be more clear as to the best course of action next. Did you manage to contact the CAB today CL66? Please upload your agreeement asap omitting personal details. You could ring Swift and ask them to send a statement from the start of the loan whilst waiting for the SAR.
  15. Question to CAG helpers, is this usual to pay such a fee to the court? In your first post CL66 you say you can offer a payment of £300 and possible family assistance so if this fee has to be paid you could raise it?
  16. I'm mindful of their 14th May stated CL 66 so keep CAG updated, i.e probs with uploading docs to this thread if you have them. Helpers can then help. Hopefully SAR request sent off. I believe from the account of your family life, there are mitigating circumstances to take into consideration. I would hope a Judge would want to find a solution with Swift so you can keep your home.
  17. DX please advise where the post is which refers to a repo hearing and suspension.
  18. Interesting read http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/vimanas/esp_vimanas_3.htm This is gigantic reading http://www.cakravartin.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/vedas.pdf Quick read http://rense.com/general41/ancientvedicpredictions.htm http://mcknowledge.info/about-vedas/what-is-vedic-science/
  19. I saw big bumble bee today CB plus daffs are up and blossom trees. Grim sky and rain though.
  20. Yes quite a nationwide policy less delegation to councils. This is off topic but reminds me of fire regulations. Get a nationwide policy on such a need also.
