As americans say ...'good job'!!

I have a question for you - have cap 1 indicated whether or not your credit card account is now closed? Just wondering as I know some banks are closing accounts but not too sure if credit card companies are doing the same.

They are not entitled to close your accounts now just because you have reclaimed your charges as that will be seen as retaliatory action towards you. The financial Ombudsman has just ruled against the Alliance & Leicester for exactly that course of action and awarded the customer compensation of £125.00. So if they do follow this course of action make a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman and pursue for compensation. The precedent has now been set the banks are no longer getting all their own way the little man is fighting back.
