Hi Tracey,

They will stall you as long as possible, stick to YOUR timetable.

Just follow the step by step instructions and you'll get you cash faster than they want to give it to you!

Best wishes with your claim.

Scott.

Any advice I give is honest and in good faith.:)

I had same letter yesterday - addressed to 'Dear Tracey' from Sandy Watt? See the MCuth thread, there have been several of these receivedby peeps in the last couple of days - the consensus is 'new/YTS office girl given a big pile of letters to respond to'.

Having sent your LBA on the 4th Dec I assume your already well on the way down the MCOL/N1 route?

Well you should accept this offer.......but only as partial settlement. Normally you would send a letter by return telling them just that, but as you sent your LBA back on the 4th December, their 14 days are up. I wouldn't bother giving them any more time, just file your claim. It's just added 8% interest to your claim (make sure you add this as this will make a huge difference to the amount you are claiming).

On the other hand, if you're not keen on going to this stage, send them a partial settlement letter (in the templates folder) giving them another deadline to come back to you. If you click my link (RBS Current1) you will find my letter I sent to RBS for partial settlement.
