  1. Out of sheer curiosity (and greed) I've heard that the Bank can take upto 10 business days to transfer the funds. Can anyone confirm this? They would've received my acceptance on Monday hopefully.
  2. Exactly one week after posting the LBA, I have an offer for the full amount! £2427.60!! Thank you very much! Consider a donation to the site on its way! I'm ecstatic!
  3. Most definitely, stick to YOUR timings, not theres.
  4. Blimey! I'm impressed! Can I ask, what was your timescales and at what stage did they settle? Congratulations though!
  5. If possible can someone PM me Tommys email address? I have a suspicion getting through on the phone may be a bad idea....
  6. That and it begs the question, what the hellis going on at RBS HQ?? They can't be that busy to be making silly errors like that surely!? As said above though, you may have signed your chance away by accepting the first offer and you can prolly bet RBS would see it the same way.
  7. Ideally I would, secretly I'm dreading it going to court as a) I'll be £120 down initially with no primary means of paying it online, and b) I'm an impatient git lol.
  8. There appears to be some conflicting info going about... The other week, the standard answerphone message said 'They would be in touch by 31st January'. That and I heard from Sandy Watt's mouth himself that they had significantly cleared a lot of the backlog over the last couple weeks. That was when I spoke to him last week. Hmmmmm... *rubs chin*
  9. Impressive timescale DB. I got a letter from Sandy Watt (although 'pp' signed) dated the 16th Jan, and still haven't heard anything. Sent my LBA on the 26th. Can I ask, how much did you claim? There doesn't appear to be any sort of precedent at all as to what claims are seen to first...
  10. I've just got off the phone to Customer Relations and when Sandy Watt said it had nothing to do with them, that was tosh. Spoke to a young lady there and she said it would be refunded to my account today. The reason it happens is that it is Human Error and usually goes through automatically when the Historic Statements are printed. It only takes someone a minute to overide it though.
  11. The LBA is typed up and ready to wing it's way to Edinburgh for delivery on Monday. What a way to start the week for Sandy! hehe.
  12. I spoke with Sandy Watt (Shocker!) and he said that it wasn't down to the Customer Relations Unit and that I should speak to either Joyce Tudor or my branch. He seems like a decent enough guy though. I asked if there was any info on my current claim and he said that he 'didnt have access to the database from where he was and asked if I could call back in a week' lol. What he did say also was that they were way behind but they are catching up with claims considerably at the moment.
  13. Nope, I sent them a £10 Postal Order and I've got a letter from Joyce Tudor confirming their receipt of it. Naughty bunnies!
  14. I called the branch initially, and they confirmed that it's for the SAR. Should I take things further and call Customer Relations? There's no problem with them refunding it, I just want this as ammunition lol.
  15. The cheeky gits have randomly take a fivers 'Charges' out of my account. I know specifically that this is nothing to do with interest, service charges or anything like that as I have an agreement with the bank that it all comes out at the start of the month. Some ammunition to kick someone's rear end perhaps as I sent a tenner PO for my original statements and have confirmation of that? I'm sure it's got something to do with this. If nothing comes in the next few hours anyway an LBA is due to go out tomorrow.
