Just a few days ago i got a letter from moorcroft telling me that they are instructed by paypal to collect this negative balance

i don’t want to pay as i got scammed so what should i do.

Do you reckon ignoring them is a good idea? after 3/4 letters maybe they will stop?

moorcroft dont buy debts.

only the owner of a debt can do court and even on post brexit paypal stuff we've seen none .

if it was as a result of fraud and its not a signed paypal uk credit agreement

little anyone will do.

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

even if it is you ignore ANY DCA that states our client is XXXX.

only if you ever get a notice of assignment (the selling of the debt to a debt buyer/DCA ) and then get a letter of claim do you need to comeback here

you would know because you would have been given credit to spend after signing up.

this sound simply like the typical EBAY fraud/scam

part of their business model.
