Hello

I was just wondering if anyone had any dealings with the above?

Checked my Credit Report today, and there seems to be an account registered with the above, showing a default from 2017, and then a late payment marker on for February.

Please would anyone be able to shed any light on what is going on? I've not opened any accounts in ages; and previously defaulted accounts were all closed on my credit file. I haven't missed a payment for like 3 years, so obviously this is a massive annoyance.

Should I raise a dispute with the CRAs? Or go directly  to Perch Capital? As I don't want to give them any information.

Thank you.

Perch capital are a pdl debt buying dca.

Aci and tmlegal are part of their group too

So theyve purchased one of your existing pdl debts that at one point you were going to send irresponsible lending claims to all of them...did you?

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

and they

  • 1 month later...

Thank you for your replies, apologies for taking so long to respond, but things are ridiculous at the minute.

I didn’t do an irresponsible lending claim to lending stream, as I only ever had one loan from them, which they defaulted.

yes, had a pdl some years back with lending stream. This was all closed though, so that is why it’s such a massive surprise?
I swear once upon a time it was with asset collections and their idiot legal lot? Tm is it?

don’t really know what to do with it tbh? As don’t want to cause myself loads of problems on my credit file?

thank you,

  • dx100uk changed the title to Perch Capital - re old Lending Stream Loan - any info would be greatly appreciated

well you need to get an IRL complaint running to LS then pronto.

as the PDL is from 2017 it does have a defaulted date? when?

ACI etc can't change that so not sure what you are frightened of...

what do you mean by all closed then?

so you need to update us

when was you last payment to LS? or anyone else regarding this loa?

have you had a notice of assignment from perch etc

Yes, I will do.

the account was opened November 2016, and defaulted and satisfied on 30 November 2017.

as in the account was satisfied and in the closed section, which it still is showing there.

can’t remember when I last made a payment, maybe 2016?

no I haven’t, not heard from anyone about it in years... I wouldn’t mind, but they’ve put late payment markers on it for Feb and March, so it has completely messed my credit file up.

it's simply you don't understand how debt assignment (selling) works.

when the OC sold it, they naturally upon their entry will mark it as satisfied and normally also if not before that date, also register a defaulted date after sending you a default notice under section 87 of the Consumer credit act.

the fact that the debt buyer, hasn't to date bothered to put the details of them buying the debt up, does not mean they latterly cannot.

but they cannot alter the defaulted date registered by the OC nor can they register anything other than what the OC did in the monthly status part.

what part of Tm/ACI are part of the perch capital group explained earlier did you not understand?

as long as all your old addresses are showing on your CRA file under linked addresses there can be no CCJ.

The account is closed I assume as its been assigned. With regard's to markers they will remain for 6 years....you said you defaulted 2017 so you have another 2 years yet for the markers to show on your credit files.

We could do with some help from you.

it's not closed, it has a registered defaulted date and payments were within 6yrs.

the additional markers are not harming you, the debt will remain on your fil until the registered defaulted date reaches it's 6th b'day, when the whole account will vanish, doesn't mean the debt is not still owed mind.

just because you've been lucky and Perch failed to update your CRA file, it doesn't mean you can getthe debt removed, it should have been showing, just as much as you should have started an IRL complaint years ago...could of all been wiped by now if you had acted earlier as advised.
