They are also now punting the idea of mix & match vaccines so are looking for volunteers.

Was looking at that - count me IN

As I'm scheduled to get the O/AZ, which I want as little as the Russian or Chinese option, I would have a good chance of getting the pfiser or moderna ...

still looking

Oh - and baring a minor miracle, we are almost certain to see at least one more serious wave and lockdowns - very little doubt on that. i'm 70%+ sure it will be more than one more wave

They are looking at ways to control people's movements and its seems designed more for suirveillance in some cases. Travel Restrictions will be part of Carbon Zero once covid is tackled it might seem.

I am also dreading my second jab, my first  was Oxford and as you know I ended up in Hospital, seems a lot more have come forward complaining of really bad headaches etc, mine felt like something had exploded in my head, still no nearer  to an answer, I even went for a specialised  eye test  to see if anything been missed, still nothing!

hi BN,  a yellow card? nope

The specialists and Consultants have no clue tbh, they said  a lot of people in my age bracket had been admitted with similar symptoms! ( in their 60's )

Whether  any had  the really bad head like me I have no idea, been a lot better since been home, but had no call from        the GP even thought Hospital said they would be informed!

All I know is about 3/4 days after I had the jab the headaches started, had them for around 4/5 weeks, I     did not ring anyone to start with but as states on website if you       have headaches for more then  4 days after having the jab then seek medical advice

BN, you mentioned about being controlled via lockdowns earlier, if I understood you right. What's your thinking on that please?

Google and Apple have refused to host the updated track and trace the population app haven't they - given its stepping back to ripping of info and centralising it

I had my first AZ vaccine 3 weeks ago. No issues but a slightly sore arm for 2 days, then about 10 days later, noticed I was feeling a bit sleepy with concentration/brain function slightly reduced and I am still not feeling 100%. Hopefully this will wear off.

This  meets with the reports I have heard, that many people are noticing side effects 2 to 3 weeks after vaccinations.

We could do with some help from you.

Just a little clarity on what Baltar Johnson (UaIL and bar) means when he refers to as the success of capitalism and greed in vaccine development

The O/AZ vaccine (and likely many if not all of the others) were 97% plus Publicly funded

https://www.theguardian.com/science/2021/apr/15/oxfordastrazeneca-covid-vaccine-research-was-97-publicly-funded

But the vaccine manufacturers will reap the profits retaining rights to these 97% publicly funded vaccine successes

https://health.wusf.usf.edu/health-news-florida/2020-08-25/rather-than-give-away-its-covid-vaccine-oxford-makes-deal-with-drugmaker

As he keeps routing taxpayer billions to his chums - while using taxpayer money to fund whitewashes he would think that a success of greed and capitalism wouldn't he.

perhaps Indian covid strains, which seem to have similar aspirations of rule breaking and invincibility, will welcome him with open arms as a god awful brother virus whos natural state is as a blight on the world.

.. I still cant find any legitimate science based justification for India NOT being on the covid red list with its massive outbreaks

Some real track and tracing by transparency org re the VIP Tory pal lanes

https://www.transparency.org.uk/track-and-trace-uk-PPE-procurement-corruption-risk-VIP-lane-research

* £255m of contracts awarded to companies that had only been incorporated within the previous 60 days

* around 20% of the companies awarded contracts without tender or clearly proper scutiny had 'red flags' which would have required extra vetting in normal processes

etc etc

add to that the prior linked

* 27 million pounds to a middleman for PPE

* Hancocks plastic fast food carton/plastic coffee cup company  mate getting multi £million contract to supply medical grade equipment

* vast amounts of the PPE purchsed under these deals being flagged as not meeting required standards by customs

...

The EU is taking AZ to court over delivering far fewer vaccines than it promised.

I feel there's more to the contracts than we know at the moment. A number of people think that the EU and UK contracts and the timing of finalising them isn't very different.

Has the UK exported any vaccines yet, apart from a few hundred thousand to Australia that I read about?

They are fighting over a product that lacks full safety clearance, as 2 years left of clinical trials There is more to the supply and contract issues than is being told to us probably.
