This could have serious consequences...


Alexander John Owens LLB is an ex-senior investigating officer with the*ICO(Information Commissioners Office), and is the same 'Alec' Owens who testified*before the Lord Leveson inquiry on*Operation Motorman. You would therefore expect him to be something of an expert on data protection.

I caught up with prankies blog earlier, it looks like Parking Lie are about to get schooled. Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch! :whoo:

another thing that could come out of this is that there is already provision within the POFA to force ompanies to use only certain equipment or methodology or accreditationso even if he fails witht he DPA it would leave a very strong case for change anyway.
