Hi guys

recently received my tax credit renewal

it states from 2014 to 2015 we was overpaid by £2335 for the year 2015 to 2016

they awarded us 465 so in the payments from april to june we have already received this years entitlement ,

the thing i find baffling is that they will take the 2014/15 overpayment from future awards ,

i also find this annoying as i kept tax credits informed of my rise in income and changes to circumstances ,

am i likely to receive notification from tax credit debt team demanding repayment ,

any info gratefully accepted .

Thank you

??

I take you mean 2014-2015?

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Hi

I think I know what she means. Since they will not receive any more tax credits for this tax year has the overpayment already been paid back by cancelling out he rest of the years payments.

I think this is what she means anyway. Forgive me if I'm wrong

Tax credits awarded us £465 for the year 2015 - 2016 but from the beginning of april till mid june we was still on last years weekly amount and recieved that amount of £465 so not entitled to anymore this year

If you will be entitled next year they will take it back from that.

If not entitled next year then you'd need to pay back directly.
