Same happened to me today. Was due in court on 6th November and Lloyds had to file justification of their charges by next Tuesday prior to hearing. Have already had an offer but rejected it because of conditions and today there it was "Settlement of Claim".

Have now wrtten to court to inform them claim settled and a sending copy letter to SCM.

Doesn't victory taste sweet!

Oh yes it certainly does. Now I move onto my wife's, Barclays and Natwest here I come.

Successfully beat LloydsTSB for £900 and Abbey National for £650, now taking on Barclays for my wife which is roughly £700.

Chelsea - it will take typically 6 months with Lloyds if it goes the normal way. However, there have been occasions with Lloyds where it has been sooner. I think alot depends on the amount you are claiming back.

To be honest, I don't actually think that's the case - not from what I've seen anyway. They don't really care about the money, to an organisation with a £multi-billion annual turnover its all small change to them whether its £200 or £5000. its damage limitation they are most concerned with, hence their attempts to tie you to confidentiality, etc.

Please remember to DONATE! Help CAG keep up the fight!
