Actually, I'm jealous of you guys. I haven't even had a paltry and insulting offer to turn down.

What are they trying to cook up in my case??

Yours paranoidly

Westy

Don't worry Westy, you'll get an offer soon enough, maybe not the full amount yet, but you'll get an offer. ;)

NatWest have until the 31st to send in their defence. I'm wondering how it will play out considering it's the holidays. Haven't heard a thing since the acknowledgement on the 2nd.

Congratulations Allyxia! Hey, does anyone know the outcome of Lurker's thread?

Hi, Trish

I think we'll have to allow the banks the extra couple of days to allow for the two Bank Holidays. And I'm sure they'll take them.

if youve learnt nothing by now is that the banks like to delay things to the last mintue!!

I know you think its easy for me to say keep your chin up - as Ive had my cash but honestly guys I felt exactly like you did esp when my claim buddy got settled almost 5 weeks before me - whereas up until that point we were even recovering our letter on the same day!!!

I recoken by this time next month you would have had your cash and spent it!!!!!!

I have had a shopping list from my girls - wife (1) and daughters (2) so the money is already spent!:D

Actually, I'll let you into a secret - I haven't told them the full total. I might be able to commit the balance to a new set of golf clubs.:)

Plastic ones.:(

Beer - oh, hell-aye!

Old Ratfancier's Cortex Licker, or maybe Redneck's Liver Spotter. Or maybe just Ringwood or 6X. They usually do the job!

Hi, Stansfield

Yes, I noticed - I'm quite happy with Westy, anyway. I think it fits quite well!

Hi, Alyx

I think that's an excellent idea.

A few of us aren't that far from each other - West Country, S Wales.

I do hope I'll have joy and laughter to share. Wouldn't like to sit there, pretending to be merry while feeling glum and penniless!

Deller, you up for it? I believe they drink BRAINS in S Wales and I'll try anything once.

"What do you think Westy"

What do I think?

I think, therefore I am.

I think.

(Although some may say I drink, therefore I might be)

Still no offer yet, not even for my birthday (which was last Thursday, in case you're wondering). Wonder if I'll get a bumper one for Christmas???

Or a bumper insulting and paltry one...
