Due to disagreements with previous business partners and then after I left the business with personal debts of 9.2 k I

got hit with 3 years of severe illness,

lost my new job and stuck head in sand

- more worried about surviving the disease and surgery than paying debts off. ,

I've recovered and got back to work - lots of time off sick but a good employer even if they only pay ssp

So cleared most of my debts , just got this one left, its a combination of overdraft, loan account and credit card.

So what should my process be,

I've checked and there is no PPI liability.

Should I go next for charges, default penalties etc by sending in a SAR (what does that stand for by the way),

or should I try making a full and final offer of say 50%

I asked informally for details of charges & interest etc. but got no reply ,

jst a letter from DG solicitors asking a load of questions I don't intend to answer as they couldn't be bothered to answer mine

thanks for any help & advice

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

It was one of those 3 accounts in 1, so I had a savings account, loan account and current account. The credit card was an HSBC card, but they all had seperate account numbers etc.

They are now being treated as one debt

Never been brave enough to look at my cra stuff

Please tell me more.......

Many Thanks

TT

Are you sure it was HSBC - I didnt realise they did a combined loan/current account/credit card?

HBOS did, these were called preference accounts.
