great

they can and prob will try for fees

but i've never know a DMP co to do court

they dont want their dirty laundry in the open

most of these firms charge MORE than you think

many also NEVER EVER pay your creditors just pocket the money

but as the redirect all letters tothem

you never see you have CCJ's until the knock on the door.

if you look at my posts

you'll see i'm on several threads at present

where members have just found out after +6yrs of paying a DMP or a DCA that their money has vanished.!!!

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

If it's a new DMP... It's doubtful that your creditors would have received a penny yet anyway! A lot of them take your first 2 payments as a set up fee so the creditors are probably sitting tight anyway.

With setting up a self managed dmp - add your new creditors to it!! Work out what you'll pay and divide it pro rata between the creditors.. There are letters here to send to creditors about self arranged DMPs. They'll probably prefer a self managed dmp anyway.

It never rains but it pours...
