Hi guys, need a little bit of advice.

Got into arrears with my 02 bill & the debt was passed on to Wescot.

I've fell behind payments a few time - due to some rotten luck with me moving miles from home to find the job I was due to start falling through.

They've sent me a final letter asking for the whole sum.

I can't pay it, to be honest I don't really want to deal with Wescot any-more.

Is there a way I can pay this bill with another company?

They are an awful company - I explained why I was having trouble paying but the attitude I had was 'and....'

Anyone help?

Thanks :)

Did you sign an agreement out with O2 originally.

Get Wescot to produce one.

Only way to pay with another company is if Wescot get fed up and pass it back to O2 then someother lowlife will call instead.

Sadly they have the same attitude as the rest of the DCAs which is rotten through and through but at least some of them will let you pay what you can afford.

I don't think I signed an agreement, I just said i'd pay so much a month.

Annoyingly it wasn't even my bill - My fault mind, I got a contract for my partner at the time.

Will contact 02 that would be great if I could deal with them directly.

The other option is tell westcrap you will pay them X amount per month and they can like it or lump it.

They will bluster but as long as you are paying a figure that is in relation to your surplus income they can go hang even if they tried to take it to court a judge would not be happy with them.

I was paying them £50, then I brought it down to £30.

I wanted to bring that payment lower again but they said no.

I mean, I've just moved from Wales to Leeds - Job fell though, I got a job now but when I get paid it will be 3 months since I've had money coming in, so you can imagine the build up of bills I've had to sort out!

They are purely Debt Collectors and chances are they have bought the debt for a fraction of its worth. Send them what you think you can comfortably afford on a regular basis and if they say not enough ask them to take you to Court where a Judge can fix the payments.

If you do want to pay it then just contact o2 and tell them your more than happy to pay them a monthly repayment plan, ive done that myself before.

OR just request a simple CCA and see what comes back, you may even get out of the whole debt that way
