How on earth can it be legal or ethical for anyone to be able to send a letter on solicitors headed paper with just a couple of clicks of a mouse button?

Which solicitors are they using, and do they even know what's going on?

If you are in business and waiting for payment of an invoice where the firm were stalling then this would be the type of service you would use.....

 

Its quite common for large companies to delay payments and in the current economic climate with cash flow tight its essential for many small business's especially if they cant factor just to stay in business.

Somehow I cant believe the practice of doing this is acceptable.I am going to check it out with the regulators.

Lets get real here, HL Legal are merely trying to cash in in what is about to become a very lucrative market when this crisis really starts to hit the majority of people in this country, and doing it in a way that has virtually no cost to them, they just have to put up a website offering the letters and keep raking in the money

Surely it's deception on someones part, supplying a letter before action when not actually representing the creditor - or sending a letter from a solicitor who isn't representing you?

 

Unless it's a canny marketing plan, send our letters and we then have to represent you?

Im sure this is ILLEGAL. What is to stop someone from sending an HL Scary Letter to anyone. After all the DCAs have been sending threatomatics out for years

I love the last bit about "series letters" from polite reminders to final warnings....persumably thats when they threaten that a field agent will visit
