In that case you will be relying entirely upon the goodwill of your travel agent/holiday company, however don't forget that the nearer the date of travel the bigger your loss will be should you cancel. As your holiday isn't until next October, I take it that you are pre-empting the possibility of PND? If this is the case then even of you were to purchase holiday insurance, you would almost certainly not be covered if already pregnant at the time of booking/purchase.

If you were to take out travel insurance now you would have to declare any pre-existing conditions, therefore if PND is a problem now then the insurnce wouldn't cover it anyway.

Chester is absolutely correct, so close to the holiday, you won't get anything back and as for the good will of the TA/holiday company, I wouldn't hold my breath on that one, they're usually about as sympathetic as a bunch of hyenas. The usual response is claim on your insurance, if you don't have insurance, tough luck. :-(

Poppy is also correct that if you take insurance now, you won't be able to claim under that as pre-existing. :-(
