Hi there,

I'm with the captain. I've read through the FAQs and can't find info about the schedule either.

Also their are references to 'only claim those unfair charges' - and I cant find a definition of those either. If my bank charges £8.50 a month for being over my limit - is that unfair?

Thanks for any help.

I would think you could just highlite the relevant items on your statements but it is probably better to list in a spreadsheet so that you can apply interest charges for the court action. In which case three columns, Amount, Date and interest.

And yes any fixed charge like 8.50 is a penalty

Hi I was just wnadering if you think it's worth me taking my case further - I have had 2 £38 charges put on my student accout for unpaid DD's. I have spoken to the bank and as a "goodwill gesture" they are refunding one of them back, but not the other. Is it worth my sending them the Request for repayment of charges letter, or should I leave it??? (Really dont want to just leave it!!!!!)

Sian

Hey everyone what's all this?

Can you please all start your own threads in the relevant forums. I will give you quick answers this once, but after that please start threads in the appropriate banks forums, then people can follow your progress and help you out.

You all need to read the FAQ's, step-by-step instructions, and the forum libraries. All the answers are there, but it takes a few days to get your head around the mass of information.

1. There are spreadsheets to help with the schedule of charges.

2. Any charge which is not for providing a service it is unlawful. So if you pay say £5 a month so you can get your free travel insurance etc, that is ok, but all penalty charges are not.

3. I don't care how much or how little it is, if you want your money, and why wouldn't you, then claim it back.

Happy reading and good luck.
