He has been living in the houshold for four years, she has been working for a year. Nothing more to say unrill the interviiew. They have a car for the little one will they lose it. Mentioned it today to someone in work and they can not believe it, and are saying am mad and should report it as the mother is as bad as the daughter and are both scroungers. Its very hard, my friend thinks her daughter is doing well she is treating her to a holiday as well Lanzarote in October, school holidays with the boyfriend and children. I have always found help on here and now am stuck in the middle. A friend of mine has a daughter and she is a lovely girl and a single parent. She has four children and a good mum middle lad has got AHD and gets Diability and she is a carer and Income Support. Housing Benefit. She has a boyfriend living with her and he works full time and now just found out she is working part time as well. My friend is so pleased for her. I am struggling to make ends meet, job is hard hours long and I cant get a swap. Am angry and dont know what to do. I cant believe I am thinking of reporting her.

I was claiming Income Support but not now, am working now and claiming help with my rent, they know I have no savings but twice on my new claim its been suspended, I dont know why I am trying to get a house swap and it has delayed it once. For the amount I get I want to say stick it but till I move I pay lots in travel costs, but am struggling

I have to say that i do agree , in that if you have 8k and go and spend 3k on a holiday which would increase you eligibility for HB and CTB you are effectively getting the tax payer to fund your holiday. I dont I think anybody and everybody is entitled to a holiday, it could be a holiday of a life time or a special occasion, The council do ask for bank statement even when you have less the six thousand, a lot less, they have no right to ask what you spend your money on, if its all declared, on Income Support I was asked by my council for bank statements all the time and my capital was, and is no were nearer six thousand. No wonder people hide money at home. I still have to send them I get a small amount of help, they have suspended my benefit twice while waiting for them.

So get rid off all benefits or just WTC and CTC then Maybe docking one day from your working tax credits maybe if you strike, but suspending it. I have just gone back into work, get a bit of working tax not much, dont begrudge it me. The benefit system was there when I needed it I am neither selfish or lazy. and if I went on strike then yes take one days working tax off me but not completely No employer pays anyone to strike.

it will never work, how would they know who is on strike for a day, would take ages to catch up, its a threat to stop pople striking. Doctors next week my mothers op cancelled, They earn to much for working tax credits anyway hahaha goverment

I can help you with this, at the moment my journey to work takes me about ninety minutes, two buses, car off the road to dear to fix, its hard I can tell you and am trying to get a swap, and at the end of the week am not much better of but am slowly getting my confidants back and feel better for working

My cousin got it backdated, she split up from her partner and couldnt caim for a while till she sorted herself out she was told this by CAB By upto 1 month prior to the date of claim if it was unreasonable for you to claim earlier. Acceptable reasons include strikes at DWP, failure of transport, separation from partner, a death of a close relative and for certain administrative reasons when going from another benefit. It can be backdated further but only when you have been misled by the DWP as to entitlement or relied on written advice from an advice agency,or where there is bad weather or if you have been given factually incorrect information by an employer/bank etc and didnt think you were entitled.

I was reported once for working, every month I clean my local church with my sister, we dont get paid at all. Was called in but luckily my benefit wasnt stopped but had to get a letter from the church. Still dont know who reported me though
