  1. Please keep ignoring them. Do you know when the debt will be SB??
  2. Complain the Lloyds - worth a shot might get a little in way of compensation.
  3. Hi, think you have hit the nail on the head - it is what is missing that is the most important information. If the COOP can't provide you with the info then the DCA is just willie-waving - ignore them and they will go away. Concentrate on getting your benefits in order - us ethis site, and more importantly get back to enjoying your life. Good luck, Intend
  4. Has it been sold or are they just acting for OC?? How did you get notified of the sale??
  5. Alarm bells ringing if you have money desposited with Barclays - if you have I would move it quickly - real danger of off-setting
  6. Pity as reclaiming this would be easier than for bank charges. Not impossible but very very difficult. Hopefully someone will be along soon with some advice.
  7. subbing as, when time and health allow, I am looking at this for a relative. Good luck - will post link to my thread if you want.
  8. Did you have a packaged account/s during this period for which you were charged a monthly fee??
  9. If paying Lloyds and up to date I would ignore Moorcrap and continue paying. Lloyds sold my CC debt despite an agreed plan - have ignored the new owners and continued paying direct with cash over the counter - done this now for about 4 months. Moorcrap will have no paperwork to enforce.
  10. did get a notice of assignment but on principle still paying Lloyds direct with no trouble. If they refuse payemnt will probably stop paying until "new" owner can prove i owe the debt. I was in an agreement with them on which I never defaulted.
  11. Another meaningless missive from Cabot, given I have continued to pay Lloyds, thanking me for maintaining my payment plan. Yes I will continue MY payment plan and ignore the assignment/sale of my debt to these sharks and I shall continue to walk up to my local branch and pay the money in cash. Just noticed on the letter that it says the current creditor is MFS Portfolio Limited - a new name to me. Guess I need to check them out.
  12. Download the FOS PPI questionnaire - do not use the Lloyds form - i successfully reclaimed from them for a CC - best just to focus on one reason why you beleive it was missold. Sar should enable value to be worked out.
  13. Sorry for delay busy with other debts About to try to put a watertight case and am looking for any details on the following packaged accounrts Select - from Sept 2001 to June 2006 Platinum from July 2006 to Jan 2007 Premier Plus Feb 2007 to Jan 2009 Premier Vantage Feb 2009 to May 2010. Any help in tracking down details of what these odffered would be gratefully received. About to trawl the net. I want to make it clear these accounts were unsuitable and contributed to ongoing financial problems and overdraft fees. Intend
  14. Cheers BB, thanks you you and other in the early day ( the Brig especially) I am much more confident in my dealing with all those involved in this industry.
  15. Well - walked into local Lloyds branch - handed over the cash and the paying in slip - gladly accepting my coins of the realm. Lets wait and see. Nothing heard from Lloyds about the loan since buy-back. Lets wait and see - ppi claim ready to go as soon as it kicks off serious, until then hope to reach SB.
  16. Cabot must be really felling those trees - another letter thanking for maintaining the repayment plan. Strange - not paid them a penny yet - all payments been to Lloyds - next due end next week - inclined to pay in a Lloyds as usual. Cabot say good opportunity to update current situation and that they have a responsibility to make sure the plan is affordable and fair!! Just wanting contact I guess. Well I will decide what is affrodable, as for fair, in this industry not a word I would use.
  17. Think they might have sold lots recently - my Lloyds CC was sold despite payment agreement, like you both letters in same envelope.
  18. Cheers BB - not sure my daughter sees it quite like you, I,m not too worried as sure we can manage it. Guess will just have to wait and see what turns up. Still puzzled why they would take it back.
  19. Now for details on the loan which is more worrying Last payment made Oct 2010 - sent CCA request but unable to supply to account in dispute - various DCA involved, none successful. Notice of Assignment from Lloyds date Nov 2013 to 1st Credit. No acknowledgment to them. Then out of the blue, letter last week, from 1st Credit, saying the account has been now been reassigned back to Lloyds. As yet nothing from Lloyds. Should I be worried?? The loan has PPI on it, which I have held back claiming for( success for son-in-law on another loan and his CC) and about to try to reclaim for packaged account believe to be mis-sold (started awhile ago but health issues slowed me down a little and all was quite and the family living happliy in poverty thanks to CAG rather than the daily hassle of dealing with debt issues) Any advice welcome. Is it usual for debts to be bought back like this - could they have located the agreement?
  20. Cheers DX - really just annoyed they sold it and then did not write to me directly, 4 months after the sale. Never disputed the debt - Lloyds terminated the CC and I successfully reclaimed the interest they charged after termination and have paid then on the dot every month. Will probably have to bite the bullet and just carry on paying . Still minded to write to them and complain, asking them to justify the sale. About to look at the loan which could be much more of an issue - will summarize the situation and post up details later. Thanks as ever
  21. Thanks. If it was me, BB, I would probably stop paying, but fear my daughter would not sleep if it was just up in the air. Will probably CCA Crabot. Do not believe sufficient proof of debt sale with a dodgy letterhead. Will tell them not paying until CCA supplied and have confirmation of debt sale direct from Lloyds.
  22. Two letters arrived out of the blue - one concerning the credit card (under control - no interest, paying £5 a month over the counter direct to Lloyds) the other about the loan - no agreement no paid for a long while and sold to 1st Credit. Will put up separate posts when I have read them carefully and refreshed my memory - daughter worried by this latest develpment. Intend Right - Credit Card first - not the most significant but probably easier to get a plan going. Single envelope rec'd with two letters in.One with Lloyds letterhead from H Singh Director , Collections and Recoveries "We are writing to notify you that Lloyds Bank has assigned all rights, title and interest in respect of this account to the Cabot Credit Management group, effective 26/03/2015" Yes the date is correct - March!! Then states "Please note your existing repayment arrangement will be honoured by Cabot and will be reviewed within the agreed timescales" Letter from Cabot states they have bought the account. They are happy for me to continue with the existing repayment plan and that payments need to be made to pay them not Lloyds. How best to proceed?? Is this sufficient evidence/proof of sale?? Am sure this must have been asked before. Both in same envelope, no actual address on the Lloyds letter just registered office. Tempted to ignore for a while and carry on paying my five pound coins in a t a local branch. Why the delay from sale to the letter?? Annoyed that they have sold it as paying regular and offered a F+F which probably more that they got from Cabot. Any advice welcome Intend
  23. Umm - update - daughter just had a phone call from Crapquest asking for her oh. Told them writing only - not sure why they should be chasing anything - cc debt paid every month and still owned by Lloyds and loan was sold to 1st Credit. Guess it is a case of watch this space, did check date but forgotten, did write it down but forgotten where - an age thing.
