hi I received a ccj for a credit debt £450 I offered them £6 a month they have refused that I told them my only income is my state pension , they told me they will get attachment of my state pension can they do this thanks

They can't attach to a state pension, as that is excluded.

 

Whoever told you this is either ignorant or deliberately misleading you.

 

Suggest you make a complaint in writing by recorded delivery to the CEO of the DCA you are dealing with. Reconfirm the £6 a month offer, if this amount is affordable.

you shouldn't be talking to them at all

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
