E-mail received yesterday from ICO.

Dear Mr Dusary,

Thank you for your email.

I do appreciate that you feel frustrated by the response which was incomplete. The letter I sent to the Bank of Scotland was dated 3 July 2007 and we have to allow the Bank 28 days to respond. It is possible that they may come up with the additional information within this time. If they do not come up with the information you requested then we can take this further.

Please email me again if you do not receive the information you requested by the beginning of August.

Yours sincerely,

Janine Gregory

Casework and Advice Officer

Dash!

I'm away at the beginning of August!

How long have you been waiting now Dusary?

Original SAR was posted on April 24th, Bigmac.

But, there again - if this saga hadn't been so long drawn-out - then I might not have dis/uncovered the other accounts which are now included in the ICO complaint.

Udate for today

Janine Gregory

The Information Commissioner's Office,

Wycliffe House,

Water Lane,

Wilmslow,

Cheshire,

SK9 5AF

July 24, 2007

Dear Ms Gregory,

Ref. RFA016ABCDEF

Thank you for yesterday’s e-mail relating to my Case number.

To my utter astonishment, today I received the enclosed letter from Bank of Scotland plc ref: CAR/O/BRR/DSAR13117WXYZ.

I have sent them my reply (copy also enclosed).

It is not for you to comment – but it seems to me that they are in total meltdown.

As you know my DSAR request was originally sent to them on 24th April 2007. Since then, Bank of Scotland plc has received various non-compliance letters, giving them a further 7 days to comply.

Latterly, as you know, they sent me copies of copies they had previously sent me “In response to your Office’s initial letter of 3rd July”.

I understand from your recent e-mail that they now have until the end of July to comply with your request on my behalf.

I hope that you will add today’s correspondence with the copy letters to my file.

Thanking you, again, for all your assistance.

Yours sincerely,

Dusary
