Thanks Sea Side Lady - that was my first thought, as having read your thread and others, plus it is the registered address where all correspondence would go, etc.... yes will go with your advice plus it being my first inclination following reading FAQ.

However, all the same I don't want anything to go wrong on the 14 day scope though so maybe if I send a cc. to Customer Relations I can be sure (?) or is that an over-reaction?

Very stern  -- If I were Howard Halifax I'd be afraid

Best wishes - stick to your timescales and let them stick their's wherever they like

jaxads

Halifax - £2281, successfully refunded all charges after LBA letter & telephone call.

Have been offered the difference between the £20 and £12 charges from Capital One -- am sending LBA for remainder.

GE Money - Received settlement of £441, being total charges requested. No interest though.

CCA'd Bank of Scotland / Blair Oliver Scott to produce CCA Agreements on two Credit Cards - well in default, although still chasing payment!!!

EOS Solutions "ceased action on account" on behalf of a friend.

All in all, quite busy at the moment and enjoying every minute of it

Hi Terrance

First of all i suggest you read as much info from this fantastic site as poss which is what i did. When you feel you have read enough copy and paste a letter from the template library changing the wording if needs be to suit you asking halifax for 6 years of statments sending them a cheque or postal order for £10 they then have 40 days to get the statements to you. If you would rather ring halifax to get your statments you can which is what others have done and halifax take the £10 charge from your account if still a customer with them. Hope that helps to start with.

And i also advice that you start your own thread so we can all see how your doing with your claim. And if you have any questions post them on your thread and someone will answer it normally quite quickly.

Anything else let me know, but be warned im no expert and im still reading other peoples threads for advice and guidance.

Hello im back with an update, not thats it a good one yet!!!

The Halifax have util Tuesday 3rd April to reply to my LBA as ive not heard anything yet. I was just wondering should i leave until Tuesday then just put in fot the court stage or should i contact them to give them a nudge in the right direction saying that the deadline is up on tuesday and i would like to know what is happening with my compliant and i will be taking it to the court stage next week.

Your input would be great

Thanks

well saying no need to reply thats correct but it wont hurt to inform them that the date is the 3rd as it might well give them a nudge as you sa

but if nothing is heard then file court papers

Im going to give them a ring on Monday afternoon just to see what they have say which should be interesting. What would be the best number to ring them on the general customer services one?

Im now starting to worry about the next stage ive been reading and reading stuff on the site and just think its beyond me and starting to get confused :-? and think this is where im going to ballz it all up by putting the wrong info when it comes to filling in the forms. Im not a happy bunny at the moment :( !!!

The deadline for the LBA is tomorrow. As ive said on previous threads ive read and read about the next stage and totally and utterly confused. What is the best way to file the court claim, go to the court or fill a form in online?????

I feel im as thick as s**t not having a clue!!!

Im thinking of ringing the today just to see what the hell is going on but dont know what number to call as ive not had a letter or anything from them.

Please someone talk me through it and hold my hand

Okay, you could call them, or you could just hold out until tomorrow and go to MoneyClaim Online or if you have a court nearby just go their, you fill in the N1 first you get that from the template library add on your 8% and file away.

You know it will not get to court.

I am at the same stage as you, due to file at court this week....I called them last week but the gent I spoke with said I should give it another week then call back???

You will find phone number on here if you trail through the threads.
