  6. HELP HELP - PLEASE!! AM SHAKING WITH NERVES AND EXCITEMENT HERE??? Today, I have received a letter from the Halifax - they are offering to pay me the full amount - a total of £2628.00 (which includes interest and returned court fee) I want to accept obviously - but is there a letter I need to send them - or do I just ring, as to date have not spoken to anyone at the Halifax yet - I have 100% followed the CAG route, and has all been dealt with via mail - so do not want to mess up now!! The Halifax says 5 days will be in my account, but having read other threads is it better to wait and receive money before I cancel MCOL. I am trying to remain calm if I am honest, and not plan what I can do with the money..I am in shock, and jumping with excitement inside - but I really can't find anything on templates section - so if you could advise on my next step I would really appreciate it!! Please someone!!???
  7. Sea side lady - you have been much help and support to me on the way and I don't seem to have too much luck with my own thread when asking for advice - would you mind if I asked you a question?? I received a Letter today from Halifax - apologising that no response was provided by 14th May as promised by their customer relations. Anyway the 28 days up next week on 21st May, re: MCOL - do I ring them or simply leave it take its' course? Should I consider Judegment by default if they do not submit the defence in due time as they have stated to the court, or do you have any other thoughts or comments on this one, as I know you have much experience with the Halifax? Please advice much appreciated at this stage! Thank you so much - and soory to be a nuisance !! Vebb

  9. No news to date from Halifax and their defence following lodge and acknowledgement of MCOL ... so, do I wait & see still as 28 days for their defence is not up until 21st May 2007...or do I ring them and see what/if anything is happening? I still have their own letter of acknowledgement (received simply *ages ago!!) saying I would hear before the 14th May 2007 re their investigations into my complaint - any suggestions welcome?? Vebb
  10. Did you have you Cash afterwards have been keeping a look out for your update - was it paid ??? Don't leave me in the lurch here!!! Mine is at MCOL stage on the 28day wait period - wondering if they will choose to defend now to be honest too?? That would be typical my luck?? Keep me updated Vebb
  11. Hi both - I was exactly the same, and held on tight to it...but gone in been acknowledged etc...and Bank has to do their defence, etc...be strong!! Reading and reading the forum gave me massive strength..that is my advice - I am not there yet so cannot give you a succes story, I am still playing the waiting game and praying like you..but will fight if I can as long as I can!! Good Luck to you too Vebb
  12. That's the way Suzie...l!! Have been keeping an eye to see how you are doing...you are not forgotten just been busy with my own "bits" too, plus keeping troops happy in the house and calming the hubbie over all of this!! Speak soon Vebb
  13. Have checked wiht the Court, and they advise that a copy should go to the solicitor - so having got letter together as per FAQ and templates on the site, just went to print off a copy schedules, and of course time has elapsed since so of course the interest on the schedules has risen, as it is now past the time period - do I send the original copy that went with MCOL ( I kept a copy for myself at the time!) or do I send the revised one? your help guys once again...sorry but experience here required, as not used to dealing with the high powers !!! Hope someone gets back to me, as want to get this off asap!! thanks
  14. Thank you - that support I need just now, didn't know if I was being treated "differently" - would be just my luck!!! ok - i know how I will proceed now...sorry to be a nuisance
  15. Sorry to be a pain I don't seem to have much luck with my own thread - can I ask some advice, as I promised to let you know how I was getting on also - I have Received the Notice of Acknowledgement from MCOL 27/4/07, staying "Ack of Service of your Claim has been filed today, a copy of which is attached. The defendant now has 28 days from the dat eof service of the claim form to file a defence." On the Acknowledgement, the box has been ticked that the slicitor intends to defend all of this claim. 1. Is this the norm, and how they are usually received, and to be expected 2. Do I just follow procedure now and send copy schedules to their solicitor. Truly grateful if I could have your comments/advice as to date you have been amazing help to me over this trail?? Thanks Sea side lady
