MET/DCBL ANPR PCN - overstay - appealed -

Recommended Posts

Dear all,

I am after some advice regarding next steps regarding this recent letter from dcbl for a parking charge from 2022.

The letter says that i can no longer dispute this claim however i did dispute it at the time and did not hear anything further back from Met Parking Services Ltd until this letter from dcbl.

I can explain circumstances if needed but wonder what initial thoughts may be.

Thanks in anticipation.

You would have received a PCN from MET Parking Services.

Do you still have it? Do you remember if you appealed this originally?

We could do with some help from you.

Hi Lolerz,

i did get a PCN and i did appeal it,

from what i remember i used an appeal that was on this site however it was so long ago i cant remember what it was and sadly about six months ago i cleared out old paperwork.

What i do know is that prior to this letter i have not heard anything for months.

It's unlikely you got appeal advice from on here. We don't usually recommend appeals as they can out who was driving.

Personally, I'd submit an SAR to MET to get a copy of the NTK and your appeal.

If you get a proper letter of claim, we'll help you draft a suitable snotty letter.

Cheers Lolerz,

i think someone had posted how they had appealed successfully and i copied the format but might not have been this site!! I'll get in touch with MET and ask for info.

Don't just ask for a copy.

Submit a formal SAR, they have 30 days then before they're in breach of the data protection act 2018.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

It would help us to advise you if you fill in the sticky that dx100uk posted yesterday, then we can start looking at this.

It's also worth sending off an SAR [click on the letters for further information] to Met, so that you have all the information for later. You don't want to be trying to get hold of it in a rush.
