Unfortunately it seems you guys were right to be sceptical about them letting the court know.

Any advice on what to do next?

Yes I knew this would end in tears....so now you have to start chasing them and the court and provide evidence. Start with the Uni and inform them to set it a side given they didn't inform the court of settlement or withdraw the claim

I've received a response from STA Legal.

Dear Sirs,

We are emailing you to confirm that notification has been sent to the Court of Judgment being satisfied, and will therefore be cancelled in due course.

Please allow time for the Court to update their records, in the meantime, please let us know if you have any queries or concerns.

Should I stop at this or should more be done?

That should suffice but its for you to do the relevant checks (court/credit files)

Thanks. I've emailed the email address you sent again to request confirmation. Is there any other way to check or is it a case of keping an eye on my credit score?

I would be ringing CNBC also because their last response (your upload) was that you didn't submit a defence. So that Email Address does not give much comfort.

I did call. He told me that was the correct email and that I should add Urgent Manager Attention required to the subject and also to get in touch with the claimant to rescind it. Both of which I've done

Follow it through and keep an eye on it ...not really happy by the the term " satisfied " it should be removed altogether. You dont want an error by the claimant and court " satisfied" there should be no judgment to satisfy.

Thanks Andy, I've replied to the paralegal at STA asking for clarification on the term 'satisfied'.
