I made an order at the weekend and it was supposed to be delivered on 20 November 2023 at 11 to 12 middays. Driver came with attitude. We are at 6th floor and there is a lift to 5th floor and few steps to 6th floor. Arrogant driver first starts to swear f... this f.. that he was not getting paid to do this etc.

This was first experience with Sainsbury's. I have been ordering from Waitrose and M&S Ocado for years never had any issues. My bad to try Sainsbury!

He starts shouting that he will speak to his manager and then he went toward the stairs, don't know if he did. Then he came with his shiny sunglasses on yelled at me that he will drop the one tray of order and rest he will take it back! He was at 5th floor and took it with him. I wouldn't want it anymore anyway because he was smashing the trays kicking it.

Then he damps the one tray and swearing and left.

I called twice and write to Sainsbury.

I want someone to pick up their dumped smashed trays and refund my £116 that I paid for shopping. Person on the phone called herself (Trully) was kind at first then she said she will get back at me when she finds out. No nothing then called again same girl answer and pretend don't know who I was.

I have written to Sainsbury's CEO Simon Roberts. I doubt I will ever get answers. My order number was 815018809. I just can't believe what I just experience today shock with it. I always do my shopping myself but this time I did just because I had surgery few days ago and needed to order food. What a big mistake. I don't know when they will pick up the tray or ever do the refund. What I read about Sainsbury's shocked me!

How badly managed and how worst customer service they had. I wish I stuck with Waitrose and M&S and Ocado! I want answers now! I will write every media account they have and publish what they did to me. So maybe others refrain themselves ordering from them and fall for their scam. I can't believe manager of the driver told him to take back rest of the shopping back while fully paid!

God knows what driver did with those shopping. I will never accept anything but refund! Tray is by the door and not touched it at all.

ring your bank and do a chargeback for the complete order.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

@dx100uk Thank you for the advice.

I am more shocked that I received email and paid £114.17 for the shopping and they will refund £64.29.

i am shocked and sent the receipt to them.

I had shock of my life.

Honestly never thought Sainsbury’s will behaved such a way.

How poor is delivery, how dishonest customer service while they had front of them the order and receipt showing how much was paid.

Smashed tray of few food dumped by driver still at tray and (if it wasn’t smashed cost £36.38.

They probably failed at maths at school. That’s for sure. 

@Nicky Boy It is not only money in this money crises it’s principle! Thanks for the advice 

 

@BankFodder I have will take action against the driver.

Why was he so upset to see me front of him!

Hmmm is he local don’t know.

I have reported few with Nitro Oxide anti social behaviour.

Maybe he was one of them.

He was no reason to be so upset!!!

Thanks for the advice I am on it now!

I am hopping that they won’t do this to others especially at Xmas time.
