As per title,

I drove into a bus lane in Watford. I

didn't realise it was a bus lane but it was and I did so I don't think there's any chance of appeal on that front.

However, I understand that it must be received WITHIN 28 days.

The offence occurred on the 2nd August 2023, but the letter was just delivered through my letter box on the 31 August - 29 days later. Post date is 30th August so there was no way it could have arrived within the 28 days. As such, could I appeal on this technicality?

However, they did have to go to the lease company first to get my details (for which they have charged me a £10 fee).

They may argue that the 28 days doesn't apply in this case.

Does anyone have any informed thoughts on this?

Thanks.

sadly they are ok to do that as it was a leased car so sadly its legit and not out of time.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
