JCI and Virgin Mobile Phone Contract debt

Recommended Posts

What is confusing is the debt on my credit file states JCI as the creditor, some American debt buyer with an office in Basingstoke and CRS doing their dirty work, but?

The latest email thermogram from CRS states

CRS have been instructed by VIRGIN MOBILE to recover the overdue balance

Now am confused who actually owns the account?

typo.

your notice of assignment from JCI means they own it.

JCI dont chase for Original Creditors.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Are there any threads where CRS have issued a letter of claim or court claim, cannot find any so a link will be appreciated

Just checked my credit files and a difference in default dates

JCI on my Experian report as the creditor

On my Equifax report only Virgin media as the creditor, no mention of JCI.

The default date on my Experian report is recorded two months less than on the Equifax report?

Not going to make an issue of it but any ideas?

only the debt owner, or a Solicitor, whom state their client is the debt owner, can issue a Letter Of Claim, and it must be sent by Surface Mail.

A debt buyer cannot change the registered defaulted date registered by the Original Creditor on or before Sale to the 'debt'

  • 4 weeks later...

Nice surprise in the post

CRS state they are returning the account to JC International and recommend the account be closed down.

No reason given, though.

Still a result
