Seems even worse than it at first seems to me as Truss is saying to Mp's including Hunt, you may have said Fracking is a problem not a solution, but unless you trash your word to vote as i say you will have the whip withdrawn and face a general election where loads of you will lose your seats

 

So shes slash and burning in a way even Johnson didn't - perhaps not given the chance.

OOPs I did something that should get me banned from public office, and is doing even further damage to the populist party party so I'll resign to avoid the fallout  from the leaked letter and have a swipe at Truss to get in good graces of next leader

It's going to be an interesting vote on fracking. Five or six MPs have said they won't vote with the government motion and rised having the whip withdrawn.

Bravermann possibly trying to set herself up as the replacement for Truss for the Nutter right '55 Club' clique

 

Her resignation letter is a farce - they send gov business out from private emails and whattsapp on a daily basis, and trashing election pledges generally has not bothered her in the slightest - until it suites

 

Perhaps she is a loyal Tory and trying to show everyone how bad it could be, and make the alternatives seem not quite so bad, but the bar is lower than a sub-sub-cellar already.

I know the scenes reported are an utter disgrace, but anyone who doesn't actually expect that from Tory ministers and MP's after voting to support patterson is deluded.

Hes angry, but the main point there was hat those MP's are primarily worried about their own positions ..

 

I'm actually more concerned about the number of labour MPs who didnt vote to support the labour motion on a main issue ..

Hope someone breaks that down

 

and a three line whip with MPs threatened and claiming its a vote of confidence and they would lose the whip, then that it wasn't - but Truss didnt vote for herself  ... in her 'vote of confidence'

She clearly thought she was going to lose and had the 'no its not' presented

 

Truss must be laughing her socks off at labour
