Does anyone have any decent NTL contacts that can deal with complaints?

 

I wrote to them a month ago regarding a default that was placed on my file with no communication from them. I wasn't even aware I owed them money. They had all my contact details but never contacted me.

 

I have been pushed around from pillar to post for 40 mins yesterday I gave up.

 

Today an hour of being on hold YES AN HOUR!!! :-x :-x :-x :-x :-x

 

My cordless ran out of battery b4 I had a chance to talk to anyone!!!

At least the call was free! (We used to be charged for an 0845 number!). There are a number of staff members able to help with consumer problems at the Forum of ntlhell..co.uk.

 

 

Free? I was still using an 0845 number! I don't have NTL services in my new address.

 

Took me a total of 3 hours yesterday. I finally got through to a manager who had never heard of a default!!!!!!!!!!

Shame - they're still pretty slow at telling folk about the 150 and 151 numbers for CS anf Faults respectively - but these only work from NTL lines. The 'default' is no big deal, and I'm not surprised a manager didn't appreciate is was simply a flag on the data sent to their CRA.

I went through equifax on my partners and said that it was a false default and they done the whole process for me
