its pretty much identical in open office

you enter the data in cols

B,the date of the charge

C,the amount.

I.the amount

start at row 20 col b

remember each charge and its date, desc, amount goes on ONE row of its own

then row 21 the next charge tc etc.

in cell d15 enter their mortgage APR [interest rate]

the sheet does everything else

put the charges in in DATE ORDER mind!

the only other thing you need to know is the date they closed the mortgage or stopped charging interest

that goes in cell F13 whereby D13 is the date of the first charge in your list.

Many thanks for your help , Do I have to put the dates in order as Paratus have sent all

The dates mixed up , it's a right mess.

Regards

Ang

I have also looked thoroughly now through the paper work from Paratus and there was another company which he had PPI with and he claimed on it so I'm baffled as to why he got behind with the mortgage payments. Can we still claim from them if he used it and how would I go about this please

Thanks

better in date order sadly.

as for the PPI

claiming on it makes no odds

though it makes the calculation of whats due back more difficult

as on the dates they paid out those payments are entered as a minus figure

and the resulting figure in the compound int col need removing
