Hey all,

 

After recieving Cobbett's defence and request for further information (CPR Part 18) on friday, i am about to do the following:

 

Send Cobbetts a reply from the templates library saying that the CPR 18 is intimadatory; enclose schedule of charges.

 

Send the court a copy of above.

 

Is there anything else that I need to do at this stage??

 

Also how long will they draw this out for?

 

Am expecting an AQ to come through the post at any time.

I never sent a copy to the court. After they have filed AQ you will prob get a 50% offer and then a pay out few weeks after.

I wouldnt say the request is intimidatory - its quite appropriate for one to be served. however I would write and say that Part 18 requets are not normally permitted in a small claim and in the interests of reducing costs you would prefer to see if the judge orders that you answer it when he/she decides on allocation after AQs have been filed.
