I made the stupid decision to get involved with PayDay loans 3 years ago and need some advice please on how to deal with them.

The following loans all became over-due in December 2012

Wonga - Owe 1900 - original was 1000

Toothfairy finance - owe 2800 - original was 400 and received email from DigitalFinancialServices UK today

Minicredit - 2800 - 80 original

PayDay Express - 1800 - 250 original

WageDayAdvance - 2800 - 250 original

PayDayUK - 1000 -250 original

I've moved address multiple times due to being a student and can't access my older addresses, I've tried calling multiple times to chance my address but the accounts have been sold on and it's impossible to get the details from then

What should my next steps please? I don't have a job and have a student loan and credit card to pay off, currently a master's student living at home and funded by parents

Can you provide breakdowns of what you allegedly owe for each.

The ones that i guarantee you dont owe what they say are Toothfairy, minicredit, PDE, WDA and PDUK

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..

Well, i guarantee those are chock full of unfair charges and interest. Did you ever tell them you couldnt afford repayments.

I did at first and suggested a token repayment of £1 per month as thats all I could afford. It was rejected and they kept on sending baliff letters and such which I ignored. It's been about a year of silence now apart from the email today from DFS UK. I spoke to my councillor at uni and he said I can contest the charges but i have to wait for them to apply for a CCJ which none of them have. At the moment I'm just waiting for them to do something as I dont have the money to pay them at all

So they basically ignored guidelines on debt collection. IMO, if theyre silent, just keep ignoring. Your councillor is also wrong.

Keep lieing low and see what rears its head.
