  • 4 weeks later...

Hi,

just a quick update for you good people on here.

I received a letter from BC today dated 24/3/2014

which after quoting the relevant court case details Lowell v me etc simply says

" Please be advised that the CC Claim no.xxxxxx has been discontinued. Yours sincerely BC"

Normally I would be thinking "brilliant justice is done!"

But I wouldn't trust anything after all they've tried to do.

So I would be grateful if you could tell me if there's anything else I need to do

i.e contact the court etc,

in their letter they show "Balance £ 0.00 it was that before their client bought the non existing debt whilst trying to make a quick buck!

Sorry I went off it a bit there,

would be grateful for advice on what to do or just to tell me thats that.

Thank you all I can't thank you enough.

xxxxxx

yes def ring the court and check.

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

What a crude letter from mr Carter. Short and not so sweet. Methinks he is a bit pi**ed with it. Always check anything that comes from BC as he is known to do underhand things.

If you are asked to deal with any matter via private message, PLEASE report it.

Everything I say is opinion only. If you are unsure on any comment made, you should see a qualified solicitor

Thanks Silverfox,

I will check tomorrow and your right very short and to the point. I didn't hear diddly from them until that letter arrived. I hope they're thoroughly peeved but they'll come nowhere near as much as I was with him! So I'll make sure its water tight.

Thanks again for the support and help.

It is a letter you have received Jordi and not a Notice of Discontinuance (N279) ?
