I have posted complaints about 2 lenders to the FOS and passed the reference numbers to them, yet they are both still chasing, one quite aggressively. Are they meant to suspend action while complaints are being investigated?

Yep. Inform the FOS of what they are doing and make sure the lenders know.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..

If my advice helps you, click the star icon at the bottom of my post and feel free to say thanks

hi Echinus,

I've no experience with the latter company but Mr Lender are shockingly bad with complaint handling. I've no doubt they'll continue to harass you and try to beat you into submission whilst FOS are investigating.

Inform both lenders FOS are involved, quote the reference numbers and demand they cease their harassment. Keep a log of all calls, emails and texts they send and make sure FOS receive a copy.
