to be honest at this late in the saga, I would not be responding.

I would also suspect that there is a little local 'agreement' between the police and primark where you are.

save the hassle and the issues to the punter and police paperwork etc

if you don't give the £80 to charity you get an official fixed penalty notice

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

have to have proof first. i think its more a case of certain officers have an agreement with certain security guards there. Save both of them hassle with paperwork, and make themselves look like the good guys too.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..

If they do pass to a DCA I suspect they will contact you first in which case you can write to them and tell them to go and do one. If they turn up, just tell them to go away. Remember as DX often says, they have no power .

Any opinion I give is from personal experience .

The DCA will almost certainly not come to your home - that will cost extra. They are simply hoping that for the sake of a fiver or so the 'shame' of getting a debt collector letter will persuade you to pay.

Any advice given is done so on the assumption that recipients will also take professional advice where appropriate.

Scotcall are the lowest of the low. They only deal with alleged debts that no other DCA will touch. Ignore them and STOP PHONING THEM. Check the cag library for the telephone harassment letter and the doorstep collectors letter. Its rare they call, but they are known to try. IF they do, simply tell them to bog off in whatever way you like. Theres no need to be scared of them at all. They have absolutely ZERO rights.

I doubt very much that RLP will be paying them enough to doorstep you

If theyve passed it to debt collectors, then you are almost at the end. Just ignore the idiots, or simply tell them there is no debt.

When they ring up again (and they will) refuse to give out your personal details and say 'In writing only' They cannot continue with the call unless they confirm you are the person they want.

If they continue to ring you (and depending on the frequency) this could be classed as harassment

If you are asked to deal with any matter via private message, PLEASE report it.

Everything I say is opinion only. If you are unsure on any comment made, you should see a qualified solicitor
