Thanks everybody,

I would just like to say i will be watching all of your threads, and getting ready to pass on my congratulations to all of you.

And Caro i have to admit if those toilets had of been in view, i would have visited, but to my surprise their agent was very unprepared. He was certainly not worth worrying about.

Good luck all of you but you wont be needing it.

ps We will be back very shortly with twoofus 2 v YB (husbands claim)

YB seem to have a habit of appointing some random local solicitor, providing no info for them to work with. I think this is just so they have someone apparently present, with an offer to make on the court steps, and absolutely no intention of attending in court. It's a quite outrageous abuse of the court system and waste of taxpayers money..

You are most certainly right Caro,

Their agent did not have a clue.

He asked me if i had a copy of page 2 of recent fax sent to Ms Ross for him to see, as he only had page 1. to which you know the response i gave.

And also told me he hadnt been supplied with a copy of my bundle i had sent, nor did he have their court bundle.

And when he alleged i owed YB money, I only replied saying i hope you can prove that to the judge, as you dont have any documents. He told me he didnt have to, what a load of rubbish that had just spilled out of his mouth.

Caro would he have been a solicitor:?: because if he was i seemed to know more than him, and thats all thanks to this site.;)

Hi everyone, just wanted you all to know that yb have settled our claim this morning, we've been through the whole process, the case was sent to our local court last friday and out of the blue a cheque arrived today for full and final settlement as they say in their covering letter' the cost of defending this case will shortly become disproportionate to the sums in the dispute' so in a nutshell we have won!!! So to everyone out there who may be getting the jitters, stick with it, remember that all you are asking for is your money back. A huge thank you to everyone on this site and money saving expert for all help and support. the hay lady

Hi all,

Well, we are very nearly at a week since the court date and the Judges Tomlin order and we have not received a cheque yet. It clearly stated that we had to have cleared funds within 14 days and if we don't get a cheque by morning I don't think they'll clear within the 14 days.

Looks like we could be going back to see the Judge for an enforcement order. Lets see what the morning brings.

Don't mess YB, the wife is gunning for you again and she's gonna make you pay if you mess her about anymore

I believe that with a Tomlin Order the money gets paid into the court and they pay you. I might be wrong, but I have heard of this happening.
