can anyone help me? I bought a house for the value of about £45,000 and when i lost my job due to ill health in 2002 it was repossesed.

The Royal Bank of Scotland then sold the house through Halifax for approx £100,000. so after charges etc am i entitled to any money back? if so how do i go about it?

How much did you owe at time of repossesion and did you get any balance back?

As far as im aware if your house is subject of repossesion the mortgage company sells the property settle all outstanding arrears and bills etc and the remainder has to be given to you ,its not theres if i were you i would be on to them pronto as in lift the phone get on too them now they could possibly have £30k belonging to you and because of your circumstances they could have been trying to contact you ! phone visit their office write letters torture them until you get you money back !
