Hi Guys question if you can help me, tried to call the CAB but they're closed by me,

I had a CC with Skycard previously limit was 4k which was spent buy my ex g/f and me on holidays etc, bad moment where didnt care about debt etc, anyway a debt recovery firm have managed to get my address and they called me saying the outstanding amount stands at £7500 :!:. To be quite honest I can't remember how long ago this was probably inbetween 5-7 years ago, can't remember exactly how I sent it all bar a couple of holiday's cant remember if I had PPI.

Can I request a copy of the original signed agreement and any statements showing how the balance was accumalated before I proceed in offering payment etc... or because they are not te original company doesnt it matter to them?

Thanks for any advice.

Apologies if in wrong place but so many forums to navigate!

If the clown rings again, just laugh at him and hang up, repeat process till he spits his dummy out.

Keep everything in writing.

Who ever heard of someone getting a job at the Jobcentre? The unemployed are sent there as penance for their sins, not to help them find work!

Hi guys, another queston if you can help. I sent a SAR to barclaycard specifically stating it was for an old skycard and they have sent me a complete print out for an eggcard(which I have no dispute with and am paying) they also cashed the cheque. Do I have to send again with a covering letter and do I have to pay again?

Write directly to the Data Controller stating that they

have failed in their obligation to sullpy ALL date held

on you.

Barclaycard may claim that they are not obliged to

produce copies of the agreement, it is technically

correct, there is no legislated obligation for them to

do so.

Sorry I've only just got back to reading this, The problem wasn't missing contract's etc... it was that they sent me details of a completely different card i have with them and nothing at all in regards to the one I was requesting. I don't mind writing to the data controller but what can I do about it? give them another 40 days as a gesture pf their mess up or is there someone I would immediately complain too?

Thanks for your help.

No, no more 40 days this is now at the stage of a Formal Complaint

to the data controller to arrive at their final response if unsatis factory

it's off to FOS.

I dont think the FOS deals with non compliance of SAR - Brig - tis the Information Commissioner.

IMHO, you should give them 7 days to comply with your request - in the form of a Letter before Action, then issue a claim for non compliance.
