Yesterday on 08/09/2011 I had a visit of a bailiff from Power 2 Contact Ltd. Company.

They forced the front door and fit the prepayment meter for electricity at my home.

I rang up for police but they were not helpful at all.

They said that the person has a valid letter from the magistrates court and should enter the home.

I was not prepared for that visit and feel very depressed after received this answer to my complaint from Npower.

I requested to pay off the debt for my both fuels and change the supplier and finally I was smashed by the system without any answers.

 

In order to resolve this problem I would like to change the standard tariff to SOL ver. 18, issue a final bill on that tariff

and give me an off discount on my payments because of this mistake.

I also want to ensure that I am placed back into the position I was before the problem occurred.

 

Please also fit the original meter back on my wall because I do not want to be charged at the highest rate 16.08 pence per kWh

plus 1.38 pound standing charge per week.

 

Am I asking for something impossible ?

I had no answer from Npower since August 2011.

They still asking me for contact or something missing with their files,

Every time I ring them up, I speak to a different person and have no respond to my case at all.

Please help me with these people because I do not know what should I do next.

Very sorry to hear of your experience with the bailiffs forcing their way into your property.

 

As your're with Npower, you need to take advantage of a scheme set up for people experiencing problems in paying existing fuel debts (including water). It's called the Npower Energy Fund, go to http://charisgrants.com/ and click on Npower.

 

Do you have a Citizens Advice Bureau where you live? If you can't get to a CAB office, at least contact them here: http://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/index/getadvice

 

I have some more tel numbers with organisations that deal with fuel rights & debts. Just let me know.
