You can do this yourself, just follow the instructions on my last post and work out how much to pay each creditor. You can probably pay 2 of those loans off in the first 2 months. 1 x loan was for £360 the other for £350. . . That would be two out of the way and you can then up the amounts slightly to the others in say the 3rd month of your payment plan. It shows the companies that you are comitted to paying off what you owe. You must get them to stop the interest, give thenm a realistic plan of action or they will be calling at home and at work. The clock is ticking, you can do this tomorrow, and don't borrow any more. . .

Hello Mate,Very sorry to hear about your situations but atleast now you can fix it bit by bit.First thing to remember is that ALL these loans are not first priority. They can tell you all they want that they are but they are not. The important things are taxes, rent and living costs.Once you have paid all of those whatever is left use that to pay these companies back.Sillygirl is right - get a halifax easycash account and use that from now. Leave nothing in your other account just in case because you can't afford to have these companies raid your account. Easycash account is good to get because it offers all facilities but no credit check.Remember though - UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES PAY ANY OF THESE LOANS MORE THAN INITIAL CAPITAL + 1 MONTH INTEREST!!!!! NEVER OFFER MORE. IF THEY WANT MORE PAY THIS AMOUNT AND LEAVE IT.As for everyday loan - they are really bad too...from what I can see they charge huge interest and they lie about settlement amounts etc...you would need to seek advice from somebody else re this.Hope you can get it done - GOODLUCK.Also like somebody else said - YOU DONT NEED PAYPLAN...they make profit so you essentially pay more....whatever they can do you can do yourself...just takes 1 hour a day at most sending emails...as long as you are tryying to pay these loans back they dnt stand a chance in court.

Are Payplan a charity?Something is paying their bills - if they dnt charge you directly I am sure they make some money somewhere along the line....Unless they are a charity then they are making money somewhere - just saying it is a service you dnt need as what they do you can do yourself

I could have not dealt with all my creditors myself - they have been very helpful to me in dealing with them and getting interest stopped etc. They are funded by the credit industry apparently.I can assure you they have never taken a penny from me in fees, and all the monies I have paid them have gone to creditors.I would dispute in certain cases it is not a service you don't need - they have got me cheaper car and house insurance for instance. I would recommend them to anyone.

Hi,

I'm really sorry to hear what a difficult time you are having. The good thing is that you are trying to sort it out, and I find that this forum is full of info and full of people who can give you some advice. So it's a really good place for you to have come to. The hardest part sometimes is accepting that you are struggling and need some help. So - well done!! (Sorry if that sounds patronising - it isn't supposed to!)

As far as I know, Payplan will give you the 'advice only' option when you have no disposable income. They can't offer to set up payment plans to your creditors if you have nothing left after your household bills/priority debts have been paid but will give you advice and info on how to contact your creditors yourself. With CCCS, if you have no disposable income (after the bills/priorities have been paid) then they will offer your creditors £1 as a token gesture per month.

(Just to clarify, in case it isn't clear, priority debts are any debts that are secured on your property, so not credit cards or unsecured loans/pay day loans etc. Household bills are rent/mortgage/utilities/food/living costs etc).

I don't know a lot about pay day loans, but would imagine that if they are regulated companies, they have to have systems in place to assist with people who are struggling to pay.

Whatever you do, don't deal with a debt management company that charges you fees. The only ones that I know of that are free are CCCS and Payplan.

Hope this is helpful, and I really hope you manage to sort things out soon.

Take care

:)

Hi everyone, i have took the time out and alot of reading in fourms to write letters to everyone, wonga got back to me today and said they would lower interest as long as they can see how much rent/council tax iam paying and also my wages for the last 3 mths, they also want to see my bank statement and want to know how much in debt i am. They said they can see how i have been using wonga every month and advised to carm down with lending money and not to lend any more money, they said keep up with the repayments and they will charge little interest. They will freeze it for 6 mths, they said they might review the posting after 6 mths. I did break down on the phone, the women was very helpfull. I am still getting phone calls left right and center. They have a telephone number for my previous job, God nos how many times they must have called there. I get between 30-40 calls a day, more the calls are from companies offering me a DMP. I have sent the letters via email and post so they cant compain about me not sending them anything. Will let you lot know once i hear back from anyone else.

Thank you everyone for your support!

I am not going to lie, after reading some of the posts i can sleep a little better at night. Thank you all for your advice and contribution to the form, if i have a couple of quid around i will donate as i feel its inportant. a quid or two of a nights sleep differently worth it : )

Wonga have no right at all to your bank information nor your payslips, you can tell them that you will not be giving them that information. They are really chancing it asking for it. If they have this information they will misuse it, espec Email errlially your bank account. There is evidence that they clean peoples bank accounts out.

email errol.damelin@wonga.com as he is the head person and tell them how much you want to pay and tell them not to call you again.

are the phone calls going to still come once then know that i will be paying a set amount to them every month? they said they want to make sure they can see my case properly, that want to make sure they stand in the right place, they said if i was to do it via a DMP they would ask to show these things too. Maybe becasue i broke down on the phone i sort of misplaced my head.......she sounded as if she was understanding me.......my parents........i cant tell them at all, i really cant, if i could i would of had a long time ago, i have to keep it quite from them, currently i have told them that these people calling are calling to take a survey from me and that i would get paid a couple of pence to take the phone call. My dad stay at home all day therefore he picks up the calls, he dont understand much english either.........

Are they still gonna keep calling me once i show them my plan?

Do you recommend i dont give this information to them? What information should i provide them if they ask?

Telling my parents is out of the questions, i will have to stick to that, i just cant tell them.
