East enders sounds like Equity release. The Government are looking at Consumer credit and with BBC radio 5 doing something about Yes loans..7 years after the first BBC report things are afoot go on Iplayer 5live investigates from last night.Things are afoot and I did study law at University...I havent slandered anyone As a National newspaper already printed some of what I have said on here also. The Office of fair trading seem to be dragging their feet and we are waiting for this near financial Conduct body which should have more power. The Governments of all colours seem to be too many steps behind.

Well done, going for the individuals who run the company rather than the company is quite a good idea, that way they could be prevented from becoming directors or setting up another company in the same field... once some of these companies close down they already have a 'shadow' or 'sister' company lurking in the background.

Have you checked that out with TFs directors? I don't know if you can do a director name search on Companies House Register, I think you should be able too....

Keep us informed.

Well done Hanley. I have responded to the F.O.S and my MP has had a reply on my behalf. We need more people to speak up and not be afraid. I have recently got the obligatory emails & letters saying that they think I am committing fraud, they will come and take goods '9x what you owe', the usual crap. If I had the cash or connections I would sue them as they also spoke to a colleague at work. It has been said before but this lot are being allowed to break the law and it needs to be dealt with.

Grin I spoke to the solicitor who works for MH bailiffs i pointed out did he know that as he wrote to me and others saying they are bailiffs when they are not properly licensed is false misrepresentation and contravenes the fraud act of 2006 he refused to take my calls after that.I am turning up the heat.Shame I ddint finish my law degree if little old nobody like me can out flank their legal representative. Greg chapple is the director.Oliver leverholt is the real owner. At company house originally they registered the company in the name of an 80 year old woman.Website is registered offshore but the monpad address at bottom of the website is their real office address in Hampstead even though they have a Sheffield po box address on letters.

Been doing my homework..I go to war hard, I hate bullies...If they would have just conducted themselves in a business-like manner instead of acting like Paper gangsters life would be easier..but i will give them a fight..a damn good fight...

Gone very quiet on here, as have NDR & MHB, ironically. Still getting the usual guff, 'visit in 7 days'; 'you'll soon be getting a visit to all adresses we have on file' etc etc. 4 of the former, numerous of the later. How many have turned up to my door? Zero, not one. Different one today claiming they are acting completely legally and 'are aware of various community websites telling lies' & giving me all their Credit Licence details etc. If I worked for the Consumer Action Group I may take that a bit personally but, as ever, they never mention any in particular. I'm sure they'll never actually go away but no-one would be more shocked than me if a)Someone is actually stupid enough to turn up at my door b)they are stupid enough to go to court - They seem far too happy adding there fantasy land interest to actually want to resolve the issue or offer a realistic settlement. Good job I know my rights so I can find there stuff funny rather than worrying I guess !!

one question; toothdairy have marked a default in my credit file.can I get it overturned?

they do not want to listen to my pleas for a affordable payment plan, plus I read somewhere that toothfairy are effectively acting as loansharks and there is no legal requirements to pay monies owed to loansharks...

As long as they have a credit licence they can mark your credit files, and you HAVE legally defaulted under Section 87 of the CCA Act, you did not repay the loan amount at the end of the term - this is a red herring ever since the Rankine shambles on the bank charges scenario.

You ought to send their email claiming lies are being told on consumer websites to the site team so they can get somebody onto this lot... the fantasy land they live in is onto a loosing streak now people are learning they still have rights whilst in debt.

I still remember the stroppy whatsit telling me that my key priority was to pay them and they were going to ring me hourly until I did and that I had no rights at all until they were repaid - they were swiftly dealt with by a complaint to the OFT and a request for the recorded phone conversation (which never did materialise their end - despite me telling them I was recording the call - my recorded call was played to the OFT who dealt with said offender).

The offender on that occasion wasn't Toothfairy but another 'key' player in the PDL field. That was some years ago now - shortly after that call I found CAG.

I am willing to pay back what I owe but I am not paying their fantasy add-onns.Credit rating dont give a rats ass about dont buy anything I need reference for I am a cash paying dinosaur.Hi Grin talking to the Police at the moment.Sorry been only updating via twitter. As I pointed out to them their licence doesnt cover false mis-representation so they contravene the fraud act of 2006.Waiting to hear when the BBC five live investigation team are researching them thanks to documents i handed to them they are back on air this month.I dont come on here much but I continue to fight the good fight.

Hello,

Please dont anyone let this horrible firm bully you. They tell untrue statements, dont handle complaints correctly.

I cant go into too much detail but I have taken them to court twice now and am awaiting their response.

I was a fortunate to get away from them once and for all, but with their actions and lies they owe me in the region of £1200 in refunds and damages and will not stop till I ge it back.

They appear to have a lack of knowledge around the industry.

They said going to court would be a waste of time and I had to use the FOS if not happy with them......

Oh and once a complaint was raised they sent me an email saying Im a fraud. (2nd court case is for attempting to defame me)

The following quoteis from the FOS sight:

You do not have to accept our decision and you are free to go to court instead. But we cannot give you legal advice about any court requirements or restrictions (for example, on time limits).

There latest comeback is that if I explain my issues they will resolve. This is o course after sending a detailed complint tothem 3 times now.

I am no longer consulting with them as they have done nothing within my time limits and refused to return my money despite holding emails as evidence showing they have taken too much.

I work in the complaints department for a bank and showed my manager their complaint responses.

She said if I had wrote them to our customers she would have to sack me.

So I urge people dont be frightened by these monsters.

Please also note that they are under investigation from OFT which I have assisted in.

The office of fair trading are a waste of time. They took 7 years to deal with Yes Loans and only did so because BBC radio 5 investigates were going to run a story on them!.Good news the same team are working on a story on Toothfairy.Have no faith in the OFT after the statement the sent me."they are monoitoring the situation"..so got to wait another 7 years then?.Going to court is the only way.Trading standards issued a statement. As you are an individual they cant do anything.Next time the mafia chase me i will remember that.Evil persists when good people do nothing..shame there are no good people in power then.

See the BBC News this morning? Or possibly read the article in The Sun today? The net is closing.

As I have been unable to prise the Mess copy of The **** from the sweaty palms of the wretched subbies, perhaps someone could enlighten me as to what this august organ had to say on the subject.

OFT "behind the scenes".If it takes you 7 years to suspend a licence and then you only do something because the BBC are going to embarass you 24 hours later. Then all the stuff about legislation which never gets done because Government dont want to help poor people because you would have removed some of the legal obstacles so no Im not impressed with the OFT.
