  5. Hello, I have a similar issue. Been on phone with a High court enforcement officer he says he is coming to my door tomorrow morning(sat) 9am to levy goods or get full payment £800 fines. Has distress warrent and will bring a locksmith if im not there or dont pay/let him in.. Dont know what to do I arranged half payment for 6th Jan but couldnt afford to and have been trying to negotiate with court for paymnet plan they are not having any of that and neither is the bailiff. What can i do please this is a mess?
  6. received letter and visit from marstons AFTER magistrates warning, which was delivered by hand--the marston DC confirmed this was from a visit with intention to levy goods.
  7. Hi, Have been on phone with Marstons who want £840 from me for a fine from 2005... Without giving a life story I was a silly sod back in teenage years. got into trouble and was fined for driving with no license, tax or insurance. Was on benefits back then and arranged payments straight from the JSA which went ahead, I then moved around a lot, got into a bad place and *ignored* my issues. So now I have settled, got head screwed on and got into Uni the fines have returned with a BITE. What I want to know is; can I set up a realistic payment structure with this as I a student on a low income? The enforcer was adamant that I can not do that, after saying I will go to CAB he said we can take two payments, first being over 14 days-- I cannot afford to pay £400 never mind £800. Now even more worrying is a Arrest warning posted through door from kent and sussex Magistrates enforcement centre--I have no idea what for! Phoned up was spoken to like a tool and told enforcemtn officer will be around in due course...what the hell can I do about this!!please help im wanting to sort it but cant afford to at moment..I am a student earning bout £40 weekly.. HELP. Leo
  8. one question; toothdairy have marked a default in my credit file.can I get it overturned? they do not want to listen to my pleas for a affordable payment plan, plus I read somewhere that toothfairy are effectively acting as loansharks and there is no legal requirements to pay monies owed to loansharks...
  9. This is amazing news, finally someone with the savvyness to take the next step where others have been unable. Thank you
  10. If you look closely there is a small gas works hole surrounded by plastic barriers. Probably where there offices are
  11. thanks so much for the help and advice.as said earlier OFT did not offer any sympathy to my case, I won't lose faith though and that email has been forwarded to OFT..In respect to a change of username, am I breaking the law looking for help in thus forum? I have not sold or disclosed any unauthorised info so for this thread I will have to keep my name as any change will presumably be available to the gestapo. thanks for the advice still I'm not trying to be rude,
  12. Alright i seem to be making no progress atall. I phoned OFT for a complaint, they were happy to say the financial contract I entered into gives the toothfsiry the right to remove money from my account! I am so confused I didnt know how to argue, I had to reitterate that I gave no permission and they had broken the agreement by not accepting my communication, so therefore the contract was broken. She said its still within the TF rights to withdraw cash from my account. Crazy,,I went to barclays and they said the same thing plus completely refused to help atall, said I have to take the matter up with TF direct. So I did, they sent me this : Dear Grant, Thank you for your email. You currently owe Ł1194. You need to start making payments as a matter of urgency. It is quite simple. The more you pay and the more quickly you make payments the more we will be able to drop the fees that have been added to your file. This will CONTINUE TO RISE as it goes to your Local County Court for a CCJ. We would prefer to come to an amicable arrangement so we suggest that you INFORM US TODAY OF THE AMOUNT you will be able to pay and when. The minimum we will accept is Ł150 per month. Any payment offer which is too low will simply lead us to go automatically to Courts to secure repayment of the debt. We will apply for a Warrant to seize goods or an attachment of earnings/benefits. WARNING: This judgement will affect your permanent credit file shared by all lenders affecting your ability to borrow in the future. Remember, the more you pay and the quickly you pay it the less work we need to do in monitoring your file and therefore the more we can reduce fees added. Act now and we will be able to stop your credit file suffering any further. If we DO NOT HEAR from you today then we will have no option but to take this through your local County Court. We will seek a Warrant of Execution to instruct Bailiffs to seize goods and seek an attachment of your earnings/benefits. You will be liable for full fees and further Court and Bailiff costs. Act quickly to avoid extra costs. 13. Is there any possibility I will get the cash back that they took from my accounts? I have reported the Toothfairy to OFT hope to hear back from them. To be honest I dint have a clue how to report this or take it further. The trick Marshall Hoares are pulling is to send me an SMS saying: WARNING in 5 Days bailiffs will be sent to home addresses, this will incur further charges. Then each day counting down untill the day comes then BAM money taken from account. I will be interested what happens this time as my card has been reported stolen. Thing is last time they took the cash was the day some wages cleared from a casual job I have--dont need to go into how much I relied on that cash!!had to dig into savings and am now broke(thanks !!) this time the count down is for a day I am expecting £60 to clear from a new job, coincidence?? I know this is confusing--I am so confused and feel absolutely lost with what to do... Thanks for all your help so far C-DOG & ihateyes
  14. Thanks Coledog, I have replied to the new thread, much appreciated for the action you have taken. G
